Reepicheep sighed in a sort of relief. The boat has docked and he was getting ready to get off the boat. He was home. Although he loved to travel, nothing was better than his real home. Narnia. There was nothing like it. Reepicheep helped unload empty crates which contained food from the journey that had been eaten. After that he went down to his part of the cabin and grabbed his bags. A leather bookbag type thing that held quite alot, and a bag made of hard linen that he slung over his shoulder and carried to his side. In that he carried his writing tools, and his travel journal. Reepicheep couldn't wait to get home. He walked down off the boat and saw many people greeting him. Reepicheep's parents weren't there but it seemed like everyone else's were. His parents suddenly passed away during one of Reepicheep's long trips over the oceans. There was a plaque in Narnia that year. He wished that his parents would have came for once so they didn't pass away. But regardless, Reepicheep loved being home. He waved happily to his land friends and couldn't wait to run through the feilds of Swords. Swords, Narnia. Yes, it was a weird name for a city and state, but according to Reepicheep it was the best place to live in the world. Even though it was the best though, he didn't know what would happen next. He wasn't expecting anything, but to go home and maybe sleep. Reepicheep began to push through the crowds to walk home.

Elizabeth, donning a hefty blood-red overcoat, entered Swords' dockside port. As a native of Kumaquatoons, Narnia - a city far from the seaside, she had rarely seen ships or... handsome young sailing men for that matter of fact. Rays of sunshine beat down on the crowded dock that soon filled with dozens upon dozens of people, awaiting the arrival of their lovers, children, friends, and aquientances who had been traveling abroad on the high seas. Elizabeth on the other hand, had no one to look forward too - except the possibility of capturing the heart of a sailor. Romance was of course the reason she had even ventured to Swords - home of the chivalrous man or seafaring sailor. She sought a handsome stud - upright, tall, tanned, and strong, for sure. As she watched the dozens of men walk off the boat, she was disappointed to find most of them to be hunched over and green with seasickness or wearing a snaggletooth grin - something Elizabeth had only attributed to a pirate. Despite these though, there were a few of her "type" amongst the crowd. One looked to be neither a chivalrous knight nor seafaring sailor, but a typical traveler - though not so typical traveler with his handsome stance.

Reepicheep pushed his way through the crowd and when he got out of it he looked up the the sun and breathed in a long breath of Narnian air. He smiled to himself and turned back to the crowd. Seeing that his mates needed more help, he hurried home to put his stuff away and come back. It took him no longer than 10 minutes, there wasn't much of anything past the seaport. Just fields and countryside in this part of Narnia. Most of Swords was. Reepicheep came back emty handed, faster than his walk there, because he had nothing that is. He looked at the crowd, which hadn't died down a bit and pushed through to the boat again. He began to unload barrels of half emty wine, and other barrels that were gone or nearly gone, then his mates dismissed his help. Reepicheep was tired from the journey, a hardworker indeed, and of pretty high class on the boat. Everyone pretty much liked him on this boat, which was good. He didn't have to pull his sword out this time. He sighed from exhaustion and wiped the sweat off of his forehead. Once again he stared into the crowd from off the wooden bridge the sailors got off. This time he actually took in faces and people.. More then what he usually did. He looked at the fine looking young women like he always did, he looked at everyone. One particularly caught his eye this time and she seemed to be looking back. It was kind of awkward for Reepicheep, he knew girls liked him, and he liked them, but he never really had much of a relationship with being at sea alot. So he winked at her and began to walk to push through the crowd again. He didn't know if he wanted to know her or not, so he aimlessly pushed around towards the end.

Elizabeth made a shrill gasp - intaking air as she realized that handsome traveler mouse... he had... was it... yes, he had. He had WINKED at her. A few bystanders turned to look at Elizabeth, raising their eye at the starstruck girl. Her gasp turned quickly into a seething red blush, embarrassed that she had gasped loud enough to attract attention - but it was worth it, getting that wink. Elizabeth took a snapshot in her mind's eye, and wished she had a sketch pad to keep the memories forever. Elizabeth, regaining somewhat of her demeanor, began to wander through the crowded dock again, not realizing that she was "straying" towards the handsome young mouse. If she had realized that, she would have turned away immediately, what if, by some odd reason, he had heard her gasp? He might think her one of those fanning young girls - undependable or something, and Elizabeth couldn't have some man so handsome thinking of her so poorly.

Reepicheep became blinded by the crowd of people pushing and shoving in the port. The next thing he knew he was shoved into the lass he had winked at a short time ago! Reepicheep felt his cheeks get a bit warm, and wasn't sure if he was turning pink or what. He looked up at the stunnning girl's face. "I'm sorry" Reepicheep said cooly.

Elizabeth bit her tongue to keep from squeaking. She had stumbled into him - the him. The handsome him. The handsome traveling him. Taking a moment to retrieve her calm, for the second time that day, she responded, in a forced "cool" tone. "It.. It's okay." She tried to remain calm, but she could feel her face flourish with blood - she hadn't felt that feeling since her school years - or ... school year in this case. Elizabeth gathered her dress hems, picking them up from the ground, hoping to get past the mouse before she broke into an even worse blush. She maneuvered to his right.

At the same time the girl moved, Reepicheep moved... in the same direction. That lead to them bumping into each other again and Reepicheep nervously asking her name while twirling one of his furry fingers on his mustache. "Say, what is your name... I don't.. I don't think I've seen you around." Reepicheep said acting cool again.

Elizabeth suppressed a giggle, but did nothing to stop the blush from appearing on her checks. "My name's Elizabeth. And... no, I'm not from around her." She pointed looked downward, before revealing her real hometown. "I'm from... Kumquatoons, a small inland town." Kumquatoons was a town of little importance, little people, and... lacked all handsome men. "Say, you're quite handsome yours--" she stopped mid-sentence, had she really just spoken such words around. Her hand quickly grappled for her mouth. Hopefully, by some odd chance, the male hadn't heard, and she would be saved from some embarrassment. She attempted to ask his name again, this time not mentioning how handsome he was. "And your name, uhh.. sir?" She stumbled, quickly omitting the words handsome sir and replacing them with just sir.

Reepicheep scratched the back of his head, he did hear her, but he thought he might have heard wrong. He thought to himself things like 'I'm not that handsome' and 'Its loud, did I hear her right?' before answering with a sort of shy voice "I'm.. Reepicheep" he said and looked up. Then he gracefully took off his hat and bowed before her. 'She's a swell girl' he thought.

"Reepicheep?" She swooned at the name - what a handsome, manly name. Oh, and it fit the brave mouse so well. "You're very handsome," she said. "Your name, I mean," she added quickly. Oh she was just like those fanning young girls. Undependable and quick to be swayed by the fancies of love. There was no escaping this Reepicheep now though, she couldn't just turn away and pretend she hadn't meet him - no, she had to engage in conversation. "So.. you're a traveler, yes?" Inside she scorned herself - of course he was a traveler, what else would such a man be doing on the seas? What a silly question.

"Why yes, I am a.. traveller. Here is my home town though, Swords, Narnia..." Reepicheep said smiling with pride. "I've been to.. Kumquatoons before" Reepicheep said and chuckled thinking about the fruit-- kumquats. "This is a pretty crowded place to talk.. do you want to go somewhere else?" Reepicheep said and thought fast, too fast. His head swam. "Maybe we could.. go to my place? There are some nice shady trees we could talk under" Reepicheep said and this time he knew he has turned bright red. That was the first time in a while he invited a girl to his place.

"A real live traveler," Elizabeth muttered under her breathe, she hadn't really meet many. Reepicheep's words brought Elizabeth swirling back to reality - they were right in the middle of the crowds of people, like a rock in a stream. Had he... he... had he just .... invited her... to his house? "Oh why, I'd love to." Maybe it'd be filled with souvenirs, and maps... or whatever else travelers owned.

Reepicheep exhaled, he just noticed he was holding his breathe waiting for an answer. He didn't want to be lonely when he got home from the voyage, so she would probably be good company. Reepicheep smiled and said "Okay, let me escort you there then" and Reepicheep put out his paw for her hand.

Escort? What a handsome INTELLIGENT man this Reepichepp was. He might as well have been a knight for his chivalrous behavior. Elizabeth hoped she wasn't wrong by her first impressions of the stunning mouse in his gorgeous red cape. Capes were definitely appealing. Elizabeth realizing she had stalled long enough to respond, took his paw, allowing him to guide her now. She wondered what his house would be like. Big, small? Wood, straw, mud, brick? Would it be filled with art, painted exuberantly, have wallpaper, or just be painted with a dull color? The possibilities were endless.
