He raced through the dark forests of Fallen Boroughs, tracking Luna's scent all the way. Though undead, even vampires leave a scent. As he ran, though he thought he would be gaining, he felt that he was losing her, so he quickened his pace. He literally bound through the dark like a gazelle through open fields.

Soon he entered a clearing and he looked high and low for any trace of Luna, but to no avail. He gave a heavy depressing sigh. "Well, there she went. I wonder where she has gone....I can't smell her nor do I even sense her." What he did not know was that she was hanging upside down on a tree limb high above him. She gave a large toothy grin and thought to herself, "My my, he is a handsome catch. I always wondered how a werewolf tasted." She licked her lips as she dropped down from above.

Kharne had only enough time to look up as she took him down. He fought and struggled against her might. He clawed and bit at her, but she was avoiding his attacks and finally she lounged in at him, ducked beneath his next thrust and brought her sharp nails straight into his chest and buried them deep. As she took him to the ground, Kharne bellowed a great and painful howl.

As he was on the soft grass, staining the grass red, Luna straddled Kharne and pinned his arms to the ground. "You poor wolf, my sweet pet. Had you not struggled, it wouldn't have ended like this." She sighed and licked his bleeding wounds where she stabbed him with her nails and looked him in the eyes as she came up again. "....but you know what? It wouldn't have been half as fulfilling and fun as it was if you had not struggled. I'm so sorry for this." She cleaned his wounds and picked him off the grass and disappeared.

As they reappeared she laid Kharne gently on a soft bed and chained him up as he slept. "Well my baby, I welcome you to No-Where." She announced triumphantly....she finally had him for herself.

OOOooo... I love the Vampire/Werewolf idea. I've recently been largely fascinated with vampires and a series of stories I've read. And I've been introduced to the idea of them being sworm enemies. I really enjoyed reading your short story here, Kharne. Though, I hope that isn't the end of the story. Nicely written and achieved. But I can't see that as an end seeing as how she hasn't killed him, merely kept him as a pet locked away. Surely, more fun can ensue.

Please tell me if you plan on continuing this here story. I'd love to read more. XD

Welcome to No-Where
Section 2
The Prophecy

"In lands of shadows past,
In times of future's coming end,
They will join hands and surge forth.
The night-walker and the wolf's upright kin
Shall approach the winter's sun with heads held high,
And bring forth a new age of calm to humanity,
And a new found peace to both kinds."

--Prophecy of Darian Grey, The Last Wiseman of Clan of the Mourning Star in the Book of Pain and Abyss, Chapter 2 Paragraph 3
.

Kharne awoke with an awful headache unlike any other and was startled to find that his prey had him chained to the bed. He struggled and growled, gnashed his teeth and bellowed with rage, yet his bonds would not so much as even give the slightest bit. He knew he had been captured by the High Mistress Luna of the vampiric race and was, to say the least, quite upset about the fact.

Meanwhile, Luna sat in her personal library one floor and three rooms down from her bedchamber where she had chained Kharne down. She heard and felt Kharne's growing frustration and smirked as she closed her book on the Crystals of Pain and the Gate of the Abyss. She looked towards the enormous gothic cathedral styled stained glass window as she said silently, "Well, it seems my new pet woke up. It seems he doesn't fancy his new surroundings. Oh well, I guess I need to go 'soothe' his anger before he hurts himself." She laughed as she got up, laid her book down on the small table near her chair and walked out of the library with a confident yet very sexy stride.

After a while, Kharne finally started sensing and smelling Luna coming his way and decided to calm down and let her get close. He thought, "Perhaps she will release these bonds if I give in to her..... even if she did, she would find a way to bind me to her will so I couldn't betray her. Damn it, why doesn't she kill me?"

Luna finally approached and opened her bedchamber door and walked in without a word. She gently shut the door and climbed up into the bed and laid her head on Kharne's chest and listened to his heart beat pounding inside. "My dear, you need to calm down. You will never break these chains. They were specially made for you actually. Part magic, part adamantine, and part demon blood....all together can make a very special bond indeed. I'm sorry if I hurt you, but it was necessary to neutralize you." She sighed and rubbed his cheek with the back of her right hand, but Kharne was still very hostile and tried to bite her hand, but she drew away just in the nick of time.
Luna kept her head on his chest and sang a little melody that seemed sad, yet oddly soothing and as she sung her song, Kharne slowly calmed down. Luna sighed again and smiled as she told Kharne in a smooth voice, "There, is that better?"
"Yes, but that does not mean that I'm not angry you worm sack!" he replied harshly.

Luna rolled up and laid on Kharne and stared into his eyes with silent, dead, yet sorrowful eyes as she said, "I may be dead, but I'm not heartless or soul-less you mangy mutt-human! I....wanted you to myself and second, I believe you to be a part of an important prophecy...one that tells of the end times and of us...there are passages that tell of a great Were-King and Vampiric Lady that will bring peace and fortune to the world....you are to be my king!"

Have you ever heard of Twilight, Kharne? It's a story of vampires. And a human. And eventually, they weave werewolves in there. Also, romancy. Probably my favorite series of books. Really good read. At least for me. Maybe you should check it out. ^ ^

I have heard of it....one of my best friends (my "little sis") has told me about it...but I have never got around to start reading it.

But as before mentioned, I might look into it.
