I know there have been blue moons before in my life, but this is the first one to come with me as a fully realized werewolf. As every day passes I can feel my energy growing and my self becoming more and more were. I cant wait until the night of the blue moon, I think I might stay up all night or atleast until the moon sets.

I'm a werecat and 'm not sure if there has been a blue moon since I discovered my "wereself" or not but I'm looking forward to this one. I haven't felt as energized as I do lately and I've been sleeping less and less but waking up more energized than ever. I just don't know what to expect of this but I'm definately ready to see if I can make a real contact with my other side.

Aside from that it is an astronoicaly rare event. They occur only once about every ten calander years. The title usualy reffers to an extra full moon during a calander month, or an extra (or fourth) full moon in a three month span. This occurance has been tied to the differences between the lunar calendar and the eastern calendar systems.
The interesting part of this is the mystical side of the Blue moon. Several different schools of Magick mention the blue moon as the best time to perform scertain tasks or to form bonds. No matter which school you consult the new moon is the most magical moon.
As a small side note the blue moon is also mentioned by some sources as the best time for weres to atempt a physical shift. I would only recomend trying this if you can make sure you are miles away from people you could harm.

Eh... I see no special significance.
The most tribal of tribal groups, likely the most connected with earth and its "power" didn't even have calendars.
Whatever floats your boat. I'm not spiritually savvy anymore anyway.

It was a beautiful full moon, yellow as corn when it first rose, gradually morphing from gold to silver as it rose. Other than the excitement I get from stargazing and the moon, though, I didn't feel any different.

i love blue moons, it's one of the few times i feel more balanced and energized.
