May night with stars so bright,
Fills me with happy thoughts of delight.

The cheerfullness of the sun has come
The winter blues are finally done.

By thy will by thy might
Blessed be to all on this May night.

A little poem that few seem to recognize as a little chant is:

Rain, Rain go away
Come again another day.

Little (insert kids name)
wants to play.

Rain, Rain go away
Come again another day.

Love is such a funny thing.
Very popular in summer and spring.

Does cupids arrow just come in and hit us from above?
How do you tell if it is true love?

We often fall head over heel not knowing why,
And can end up heartbroken and wanting to cry.

Love is that cool splash on a hot summer night,
But it is also a heated match ending in a fight.

Love is confusing and often a mess,
My advice is good luck to everyone and try your best.

I like your poems, they are nice!

May I share my favorite poem by Elizabeth Barrete? She helped write the books "Grimoire for the Apprentice wizard" and "Companion for the Apprentice wizard".

The friends we meet along the way-

What makes life worth the price we pay?
It seems to high, until we greet
The friends we meet along the way.

Our hopes are gold, our flesh is clay;
Our path wears blisters on our feet.
What makes life worth the price we pay?

Who dances with us through the fray?
Who shares the bitter and the sweet?
The friends we meet along the way.

Our dreams are curds, our fear are whey;
Our bellies churn at each defeat.
What makes life worth the price we pay?

When skins grow slack and hairs grow gray,
who swears we are not obsolete?
The friends we meet along the way?

Our time is measured, day by day;
our tears are slow, our laughter fleet.
What makes life worth the price we pay?
The friends we meet along the way.
