This is space that we know of which would be just outside of other planets' gravity pulls or between planets. There are Space Stations called 'checkpoints' scattered throughout space for ships [and crews] to refuel and recharge.

Ken walked down to his quarters then laid down to rest. Ken put both of his hands on his face the closed his eyes thinking about his dad. “if only you could see me now you probably would be proud of me and how far I’ve come. Suddenly there was a knock on the door then a voice began to speak “captain sir we need to make a stop and fill up on fuel and food we’ve been traveling for quit some time one of the soldiers said. Ken stood up then walk to the door and opened it by pressing a button next to the door the go fuel up and prepare my shower you idiot. Ken said in a aerated voice as he picked up a toil of a rack and headed down to the shower.

Ken emerged from the shower as his ship finished fueling up and set off . Ken walked out of the bath room then walked down to his quarters. Ken opened his closet and put on his uniform. The walked out and headed down to the cockpit . “what the news”
A soldier turned around and stood up from his seat then saluted “captain sir nothing has happen lately that concerns us".
Ken sat down in his seat then smiled “great then let patrol the area” ken turn off the auto pilot. Ken took a deep breath then began to fly his ship.

The Deucalion soon reached known space.
Bade stood in the cockpit as if he were captain, forgetting that this wasn't his ship and that he was more of a prisoner than a captain. "Set a straight course for Eris with shields ready and engines to medium power. We shouldn't be seeing anymore military ships once we get a little further outside of Pluto's area grid." Bade didn't even notice, but his memory was slowly returning to him.

As ken flow his ship through the know space he received a transmission from the intercom behind him from a commanding base near by. “captain I have news of a ship that is probably heading your way from Pluto we believe it was the cause of the lost of a transport craft." "If you ever come in contact with this ship stop it at”. Ken turn around and looked at the intercom ken put his hand on his chin the sign “what type of ship” ken said as he notice a ship entering the know space from Pluto. “hmm” The officer said “a Cruiser I believe” Ken turned back around then looked at both his co-pilots and smile “time to go to work guys ken headed to the ship entering know space “ all weapons arm” ken said smiling

She checked her account on the small screen of her phone, watching the numbers rise. She smiled and switched the screen to that of a rather sharply dressed human, dark hair slicked back, probably wearing one of his expensive suits, pressed and polished black shoes, "It went through." She informed him. He couldn' see her face like she could see his, she always wore a veil and hood when dealing with her customers, flattening her ears against her head.
"A pleasure doing business with you, Obsidian. My offer still stands, I would very much like to have you on my permanent staff. The benefits are--"
"Tempting, but not enough. Thank you, Ryker." She disconnected and slipped the phone away, pulling the veil down but leaving her hood up. She looked up as the waiter came to her, "The lobster." She said with a sweet smile up at him." The waiter nodded and left.

Bade had left the cockpit and began to look out of a window where he could see just how empty space was. "Genesis...I remember knowing that I need you...but why? I can't help but feeling that getting that ship will bring back memories of who I am...or was...," he trailed as he turned to go and lean his back against the wall directly across the hall. He would slide down into a sitting position, hug his knees and fade off to sleep.

Ken began to approached the ship causing all the trouble and smile with a pleased looked “lets shake thing up shell we” ken said in an unenthused voice ken dashed over the cruiser ship in hopes to shake the inside of the ship . Ken turned around the ship the aimed his guns at the ship “what’s your first move.”

Noah was sitting ever so pleasently in his Captian's chair, when he heard the alarm. He sighed. "Well... it seems yet again we're being attacked."
Spatha chuckled. "Shall I prepare another round of G-Mines?"
Gimel sighed and rolled his eyes. "Can't we just talk to them for once??"
Noah nodded. "We'll talk..."
"Always the diplomat..." derided Spatha.
Noah just shook his head then activated his viewscreen and Gimel opened a communications channel. Noah then smiled, with a slightly wicked air about him.
"I am The Ferryman, Keeper of the Kuiper Belt and Holder of Strife.. What is it thou hast bothered us for! Halt now, or perish. If you are of Babel, state so now... that we may end you here. If not, flee and forget that you have seen us, as we will destroy you if you persue. If you are here for any trading or business, come to the Heart of Strife, and we shall talk there."
The Heart of Strife, was a series of old ships which had been cobbled together on the surface of Eris by the Pirates loyal to Noah and his old mentor, Tubal Cain. It served as a habitiable area where pirates could trade and live, paying rent to Noah and Tubal, Tubal staying behind and manning the Heart of Strife at all times. They had made quite a market out of the place and many things of interest had passed through there in the last little while. As well, much of the complex was moved into underground areas which were slightly terraformed and made out of old ship parts and one OLD Habi-dome, where Noah, his crew and Tubal lived...

Ken look at the ferry man then wiped his nose with his thumb then said “are you the one who attacked the transport ship near Pluto” ken said as he leaned forward getting a good looked at the so called ferryman. Ken quickly then closed his eyes and said “but before you answer that if you ever try to threaten me again I will blow you ship in to pieces”. Ken then put his right hand on his face and put his elbow on the control system waiting for an answer to his question.

The sound of the other ship gave Bade a rude awakening. He lifted his head and looked around before heading directly toward the cockpit. When he arrived, he looked around at the moniters and saw the man on screen. "...I...I've seen him somewhere before. I don't know where, but I have seen him before." Seeing Ken's face somehow jogged a small part of a memory of his.

"Ha, your ship would not survive a tussle with mine, Do not make promises you can't keep... and while your at it, eat an Orange or something... It seems like you need the Vitamin C." Noah chuckled.
He then smirked, turning for a moment to Bade, making the Comm fall silent. "Well Mr. Bade, tell me where you've seen this fool before... before I make sure you never see him again."
He then turned to face this weak little man. "Now, what has been done is no business of yours, as we are... free enterprising people and would certainly like to be left alone. However, we have run into such a thing and did liberate it's baggage from it's hold. Now look... I've already had three run-ins with gun crazed nutbars today, and none of them are in great shape... So please, just leave us alone. We will not fire until provoked, if provoked... you will pay."
Noah smiled and stared directly into the man's eyes. "I'm not joking... as it seems you've never heard of me, must be living under a rock there. Now, I would suggest leaving this sector imediately, as your people aren't in control here... nor protected in any manner, unlike your government claims."
He then paused. "And if you speak to High Admiral Erza, please give him my reguards. He's likely the one who's orchestrating all of this assults." For yes, his archnemesis Erza was now a High Admiral within the Military's High Command, a more public position for the traitorous cur.

Bade looked to Noah and saw how arrogant he was being. He knew that they had been in all of those battles and were probably now low on ammo. Bade also knew that the man he was now threatening was in a Gunship and could probably blast them into spacedust. Even knowing all of this, Bade managed to keep his mouth shut and opened it only to answer Noah's question. "I don't really rememeber. For some reason, parts of my memory are...clouded. It's like I know they're there, but I can't really make them out. This guy does ring a bell though."

ken looked at bade and turn his head sideways then turned it back and smile “captain bade." ken said to his shelf ken then looked at the ferry man with a very angry look in his eyes "you will not insult me any more." ken looked dead in the ferryman eyes then said "nor will you insult the government they've been doing there job getting ride of scum like you every day for it’s people." ken took a deep breath then calmed his shelf down "now choose you next words wisely."

Ken's screen would blank out for a second, then turn back on with a High-Ranking Commander on it. "Captain. This is your commanding officer; the Deucalion escaped from Pluto and is headed into your area. Your orders are to capture Deucalion and bring it, along with its crew, to Space Station Alpha. You have your orders, that is all, Commander out!" he said before closing the channel to let Ken's screen go back to showing The Ferryman.
The Commander turned away from the computer and began to walk out of the room that he was in only to be met up by a lower-ranking officer. "Commander, Project Genesis has been loaded onto the transport ship and is already making its approach."
The Commander nodded. "Good work. We can hold Genesis here for safe keeping until the Dark Prince gets here to take it to its new hangar."
Meanwhile, Bade looked to Noah with a bit of worry and whispered into his ear. "I can tell that your ship is strong and that you aren't the type of person to back down, but we should probably run instead of fighting. You can't have many G-mines left I mean...do you?"
