About the Guild: A more in depth summary.
I know some of you may be thinking, "Don't you mean the well-intended
guild?" but that speaks more about the guild. What I'm referring to is the
people who make the guild; people who are well-intentioned.
This guild promotes personal growth and reflections. We will have focused
discussion themes every month or so, sometimes visiting on old ones.
Sometimes they consist of surveys as conversation starters and will force
you to sit and reflect a bit on yourself and the world around you.
We encourage you to join whether it's your cup of tea or not. Here are
some things that people may feel worried or intimidated about when
joining:
- "Everyone will just get into cliques and I won't fit in"
Some people like to talk to certain group of people because after a while
they become comfortable with them - we can not change that. However, we
will try to push people to talk to everyone, new and old. All you have to do
really is get yourself in here and talk!
"People will just judge me..."
People also come with their own biases, moral values. But as long as you
do not impede on another person's autonomy, and of course, you mean
well - who are we to judge?

it may just help out future members!
Overall Rules and Guidelines:
Some of these are more of suggestions to being a guild member. But it's
just so important that it should be here. It really helps if you want to
be happy in our little community.
- After a month of inactivity members will be warned with a PM. If there
is no reply within two weeks they are given another warning. If they don't
reply again after another two weeks, there is another warning. Another two
weeks (which is pretty much well into the second month) of no reply, then
the person is banned.
If you're feel you are on the verge of hating someone's guts, agree to
disagree for the moment. Cool down, reflect on this discussion - not on who
was right or wrong, but the way you communicated with one another and if
it was actually worth the anger: most of the time it isn't.
Never harass or abuse another member (you really shouldn't do that to
anyone, but we can control it here). We are peers here and thus you must
treat one another with respect.
I know it's difficult finding the balance between being totally insensitive,
and being extremely PC. Please have a sense of humor and think about
what you say. If someone has offended you, please talk about it out
respectfully and not start bashing them.
The Guild Item: Wear it in support of the guild!
