Late Afternoon, somewhere around the fuzzy border of Middling and the Downers
Pushing, pushing, pushing, her hormones and Morrigan seemed to enjoy not only the recently budding crush, but also Crow's new body. The new, slightly more womanly body that Crow felt like an alien in, even if she, in a very small and she-would-never-ever-tell-way, liked it.
The pushing worked because Crow decided to head over to find Writ. Which, honestly, wasn't hard at all. Tall, skinny, tanned, yellow eyes: four simple words and people point you along the way.
...she'd have to remember to tell him to hide better, and move often. Crow at least had Hobert, and snuck in and out easily, apparently Writ had yet to master such.
Despite the pounding afternoon sunlight of the spring/summer mix, she was out in a cloak, clompidy-clomping along with her legwarmer-sheathed hooves and her wings tucked under her arms... Boy she was burning up. Her tail curled between her legs as she walked, and inwardly she damned herself for not being able to simply figure out how to remove the mutt parts.
It didn't take long, about a twenty minute walk from her place to his current...place...
"Hm... Where could he be, where could he be...?" Crow hummed softly to herself as she surveyed the long and desolate alleyway, inhabited by the rejects of the City.

Writ was sitting around a fire escape platform, his eyes were up to the skies, watching the clouds drift by. He sighed, he's been walking and wandering everywhere lately, it was nice to have somewhere to rest all to your-
Clomp. Clomp. Clomp.
-Self...
The first thing he did was sniff the air. He had no idea what he was sniffing for, let alone know why he was doing it in the first place. It just felt like something he had to do.
The clomping got closer, and he could only guess who it was... It wasn't, just a woman in a cloak... What was making that sound then? It was either she had clogs or-
Morrigan's figured it out. Coyote muttered, a little surprise in his voice, Gods, she's a lot cleverer than I thought.
Writ seemed to pale at the mention of Crow's god, and he looked to the woman again. It took him a minute to figure out why Coyote said that, but he got the hang of what was going on.
With that realization, he squeaked. The kind of squeak you got when you forced a tiny, choking dog to breath helium and bark. Writ's eyes widened, and his mouth hung open.
Told you. Coyote chimed in, Snap out of it and talk to her.
Writ stood up, and walked across the small floor quickly, he leaned against the fire escape barrier.
"C- Crow?"

The cloaked head turned. A hand reached out from underneath the rag-tag garb and pushed the hood back.
"You're too easy to find... You ought to hide yourself better." Her voice was noticeably...older, if not almost sensual in a way. Crow realized her tone was just off a bit, and she lowered her head.
Hehehe. Coyote's probably shitting himself right now.
'I think so is Writ.'
She then tossed her hair, and stepped closer to Writ. With a small smirk, she inwardly noted that her eye level was closer to his than it had been. "Well? Don't stand there so dumbfounded, it's not like spurts are alien to you."

Another squeak.
"Not your age" Huh? Coyote sounded a little agitated, There you go.
What's wrong? Writ thought back, sensing his annoyance.
I just didn't expect her to catch on so quickly. The god gave Writ the astral equalvalent of a slap to the back of the head, I'm finding Morrigan. And he left, his kid was getting pushed around like crazy, and he didn't want to see any of it.
"Ah.... ah..." Writ didn't know what else to do but stare, his ears flushed red. Ladder maybe? Yes, yes. He walked over to the ladder and unhooked it, the rusted metal steps landed noisily on the pavement.
"Come up?"

Aah, yes, I hear the angry beats of a drum... Not his realm this time around...
'Heh?'
He's coming to my realm. I'll send a raven to fetch him.
As said, momentarily after Coyote arrived in his own domain, a large black raven was perched on a dead tree, in its tightly clamped beak was a parchment, the red ink bleeding through even on the outer folds.
Crow, back on the normal planes of earth, was quick to notice Writ's stammer, and his red ears. It was hard enough to miss those ears, and then they turned bright red; nearly impossible to miss.
Wasn't it she, some time ago, stammering over his presence? Yet now she wasn't. She wasn't making herself sparkle and shimmer, like he had done, she was just being normal.
Yet, he stammered anyway.
A simple nod indicated she would come up. She tossed her head from side to side, and then she tilted herself to look behind her.
No one was around to notice, and it wasn't too high, was it? No. She could at least try it. She grinned suddenly, a wild twinkle in her eye as she dropped her cloak from her shoulders, letting it come to rest in her right arm. Her red-sheen wings spread out wide like a free bird, stretching towards the sky before taking off. Then, she crouched down quickly and pushed up.
Even though she had to grab a hold of the topmost step, and she let her hooves easily clank on the stairs. Her wings lowered and tucked again, and she tossed the cloak over herself. So it wasn't a grand flight around a building but, a good leap did the trick.
"Yes, I think I will come up."

Coyote growled, throwing the drum to the ground. The god took the message from the raven, and he felt leashed again.
Writ was still getting used to his body and mind, and everyone was coming in on him. Dammit dammit dammit. This whole aging thing was starting to become more of a disadvantage. The kid's gonna have to learn one day that the only thing women were good for was a few nights before going to the next one. Well, there were probably more lessons than that, but whatever, he wasn't keeping track.
One Coyote appeared in Morrigan's realm, four legs and fur.
Back in the real world. Writ snapped out of his little hormone-fueled trance, and marveled at Crow's grown wings.
Called it. He so called that one, didn't he? Yeah.
When she landed, he staggered back,
"Holy-! They work now?"

Crow smiled gently. "Yes...they do. I guess it wasn't just you that could grow up, Writ."
She paused for a minute, letting her wings settle back down as she fiddled with her bangs that kept getting in her minty eyes. "So," she started, "what have you been up to? I see you ran away from home... How've you been doing out here in the slums of the earth?"
Meanwhile, in the vast rolling fields of emerald and skies of cloudy blue quartz, Morrigan was standing on a hilltop, raven-headed, dressed in a cloak and the a-typical straight-out-of-a-bad-fantasy-novel scantily clad battle garb. Oh, and let's not forget the stick with the sharp pointy shiny thing on the end. Her bird head turned to Coyote, and she cried out a screeching laugh.
"So, I see that Writ has figured out you're not the only one who can grow children overnight? Turns out we all can, the child only need be ready and willing." She paused for a moment, rubbing the underside of her ebony beak with her pale human hand. "And I think I did quite well with her growth, too. Writ seems to enjoy the show, certainly."

"Yeah..." Writ looked down for a second.
"I've been getting by pretty good for a kid with a backpack." He leaned against the fire escape.
"So, how long since uh... Yours happened?"
***
Coyote acted cool. At least the best he could on four legs with a muzzle. He was sure as heck not going to be angry in front of her, he had a reputation to uphold.
"Hmm, you've caught on to all of this, eh?" a growl underneath his tone, "I have to admit, you've got my boy all wound up."
He put his body to the cool ground, "Felt like yesterday since it was the other way around."

Crow closed her eyes, she lost track of days so easily anymore. Her tail floated from side to side for a moment as she thought.
"Nearly two weeks ago." She said finally. "Nice to hear you're doing good."
---
Morrigan nodded, her eyes shutting only momentarily before she walked over to him, switching to a dark black wolf as she then sat down beside him.
"Yes, I have. Actually, it was more like I felt horrible for her changing a dozen times in a week. So I knew if I didn't make a close bond with her fast... I might just lose her. I... Oh bother, never mind. Anyway, I did catch on to what'cher were doing with yours so I tried it with mine, and she grew beautifully.
"So... What now?" She then turned, and soft smile on her face. "Do I thwack you over the head with a tomahawk just to mess with you?"

"Geez, you grew more than I did." Writ pointed at the wings, "I mean you can fly and everything, all I can do is make my ears smaller." He was a little jealous. Though being able to hear everything in a two block radius if he tried was still cool.
***
"We tell our little godlings to go off and play with others." Coyote said lazily, he stretched out his legs, it's been a while since he's been in this form.
"Kick some a**..."
Alright, enough with the chit-chat. Down to business. If only Writ knew what he was doing.
"You ever hear of a kid named Ciro?"

"I can only fly a little," she admitted, her cheeks blushed lightly with embarrassment. "I haven't practiced much at all..."
The bad part is, she was pretty sure she could make her ears smaller, too, if she tried hard enough.
--
Morrigan tossed her head away from him, and then suddenly focused on cleaning a bloodsoaked paw. It was not clear where the hell the sudden fresh blood came from.
"Why would it matter if I did or did not to you, Coyote?"

"Kinda hard to practice with everyone around, huh?" Writ sat on one of the fire escape stairs.
There was a pause.
"I think we won't be the only ones to grow" He said, just thinking about it, "At least that's what Coyote's saying, he's all, 'Everyone will catch on' and all that."
***
"The flowergirl says you do. Little horned kid, right?"
Coyote caught the coppery scent of blood, and he looked over to see. Where did that come from? There weren't any signs of prey. That's when he reminded himself that he was in her realm, right. Probably perfectly normal here.
"I've got a little something on him if you're interested."

"Of course they will," Crow responded with the tone of 'well that's blatantly obvious' without trying to sound snotty. "They've just got to realize...well...what we realized. We're not damned."
She flicked her wings under her cloak when she said the last three words. "Y'know it's hot out here..."
---
"Information is--" she licked her paw, "always of use."
Morrigan kept her words emotionless and cryptic, for Crow's sake. She didn't need any more boy issues than she already has. "Info that Crow shared to me on Len and his god in return?"

"I never thought I was." He began to climb up the stairs to the roof, "I always thought my ears were just like everyone elses."
Writ made it up, and dangled his feet over the ledge of the building, still close to the fire escape.
"There's this kid around downers, he's got paws, feathers too, and everyone's chasing him out everywhere. He looked up to the sky again, "I guess I'm lucky to have had parents like mine..."
***
"Information could be it's own currency with the business Miss Flowergirl has."
Coyote knew that he was dealing with someone as tricky as he was. He kept his guard up.
"Sounds like a trade." The god nodded, "Know a god named Shamesh?"

Crow followed, the long, orange fur on her tail clinging to her leg thanks to a human glue called sweat. "This...cloak...is...burning...me...alive!" She grumbled, her hand on the ledge to pull herself over the top, of course which she did. Once on top, she ditched her cloak and used her wings for her own personal shade.
"I did. But then again, all you had were ears back then... I've... Well. You know."
She then turned to stare out at the skyline of the City, listening to Writ idly as she enjoyed her shade. After he stopped, it took her a few moments to reply. "Oh? A new player? Feathers and paws...? Wow. More little freaks like us."
---
"Sha-mash. Get it right. Not -mesh." Morrigan corrected him. "Yeah, maybe. Why?"
