Ngaire glided into the clearing where Avira had asked her to meet him. She looked around before landing but didn't see him anywhere. She was really glad that he had returned from being away, she had really missed him.
Sitting in the grass, she rolled onto her back, a smile playing on her face as she tilted her face towards the sunlight.
She was suddenly pounced on by a little snow yeti that licked her face quickly before bounding off again on it's own little adventure.
Ngaire giggled softly after watching it running away and closed her eyes again.

Her eyes fluttered open as she heard him speak and her smile became a grin as she looked at him. She nuzzled him back before replying, "That's Icicle, the yeti you got me for Christmas before you left. She's always off exploring but she'll be back when she's ready."
Kissing him tenderly, she sighed happily "I missed you too, it gets lonely when you're not around."

"I find it funny that we gave each other the same presents for Christmas, I guess we just have similar tastes..." She rolled against him, blissfully happy that she didn't roll through him.
"So did you find anything really different on your travels? What you told me yesterday was wonderful to hear about. But I am wondering if you found anything else..."

Ngaire smiled at his suggestion. "I'd love to explore. I've never thought of going exploring around here. Apparently there's lots of places that no numa has been before and places where they just don't want to go. I don't want to go anywhere too dangerous though. Although I know that I'm safe with you."
She resisted the urge to jump up, not wanting to really leave his side at all.

With Avira helping her to stand, she rose to her paws. Giving her wings a shake to make them look right again, she faced him. "Promise me you'll take me with you next time, please?" She dreaded the thought of him leaving without her again. Although her new brother was around for company, no other numa compared to her mate.
She looked around the different directions before looking at him again with a smile. "Are you going to pick a direction to go or should I?"

She sighed in relief at him saying that he wasn't planning on leaving before looking at where he was indicating to.
"That looks like it could be an interesting place to go.. I don't see a path either so hopefully that means that no one else has been there.
As excited as she was to go somewhere new, she was also slightly afraid but didnt want Avira to realise this so she put on a brave front.
she quickly licked his cheek, ducking her head down playfully before starting to walk over to the edge of the trees.

She almost didnt want to admit that she didnt do much while he was away... But she did have one bit of news to tell him. "My caregiver adopted another numa. So I now have a kind of brother.. He's a blue numa as well. Maybe you can meet him one day?"
When he commented on being hungry, she realised that she hadn't eaten either but then she thought for a bit. "I thought you didn't eat since you're a ghost? But food is a good idea... There's usually bushes growing fruit everywhere in Numaland so we should be able to find something around here...."
She stopped when she reached the trees and peered inside, she turned back to him to make sure he was staying with her.

She nodded at him. "Hopefully you'll meet soon.. He's a little moody though.. He didn't want me to come out today, I think that's because he's never been left alone before.." she looked at the candycane bush with a smile. "I hadn't seen that, they look tasty. I can't see much through the trees, it looks a little dark in there..."
She started to make her way over to the candycane bush while asking... "I guess it would be strange seeing you trying to eat while in ghost form. It's not something I want to see though. Do you want me to pick some for you?"
