62nd anniversary of when the Nazi Aryans learned that Communist Slavs, Georgians, and Central Asiatics are superior. A day when I remember my family members and the millions of others who gave their lives to save the Motherland cry

Indeed, I've been seeing "9-ого Мая" advertisements all over the web the past few weeks in the Russian communities.

Keep saying that. America, and yes I'm aware that Russia had more deaths. Superior, well I wouldn't go crazy on the term. But hey Americans,Canadians, British, and other allies, was worthless.

I am of the opinion that had Stalin not killed off most of his officer corps and not constantly hindered the superb aeronautical scientists that the USSR had, withdrawl Stalin (and his lackies) weird paranoia and the USSR would have been more of a factor early on. The only reason it took the giant a while to wake up is because the war finally convinced Stalin to release all of his crack aeronautical designers (many of which would eventually lead humanity into space) and other engineers from prison.

Well the reason Hitler lost, one reason was he killed most of the officers, so few could lead. He almost killed Von Brawn, luckily he was saved by one of his friends. Later he was jailed again. It was the Germans scientist after the war that were ahead of American and Russian forces. England was the seconded country to deploy jets. The X-1 was information used by the Germans. Stealth bomber today is based upon German engineering just it was to unstable without flight computers, it took fifty years for computers to get were its at. Russians had in mind flying tanks and would be toed on a cable with glider wings and released to hit the ground.

I would encourage you to take another look at the Russian rocketry program and the aeronautical program. The soviets had the first ever modern monoplane, the first jet fighter, and numerous other improvements - they even had a "stealth" fighter (it was made out of clear plastic - if you took out their radar you couldn't been seen - unfortunatley they could never find a kind of plastic that wouldn't eventually get scratched up enough to lose the effect). Also make note of the Mig farmer type which was far beyond anything anybody else had by the 50s.
After Stalin's death the aeronautical geniuses of the Soviet union actually got to do all that they wanted to. The same guy that invented the flying tank finally got to work on bigger transport planes. They also vibrantly entered the space program - they actually just had a thing on the history channel last night about the Soviet rocket program and how out of this world advanced it was - they blamed Stalin for jailing and killing many of its best and brightest for the soviets not being light years ahead of everybody else.

I give far more credit than just that mere thing, the designer was from Italy if I recall, and he had a jet aircraft designed to bomb America in one refuel. The also reverse engeered a B-52 that landed in Russia in the Pacific since the Americans lost there way and landed and allied controlled area. The Russians took the aircraft and lied about it, and manufactured a hundred of them. They also made a shuttle also. They did a lot stuff first, at the same time America did also. Look up X-15, X-10, X-13. also America was the first to make heat seekers, ram jets, high altitude aircraft. Also at the time Russian computers were no match of landing on the moon like America, they cold not compute as well. America was the first to have a space station, Russia was the first to live in a space station the longest so far. also during Apollo 17 both countries shared information regarding plan layouts of, the same is happing again. Russia wants to join us to Mars. Stalin hated to fly and took his fear out on them, it is quite sad they died for that, no other part of manufacturing was punished like the aerospace guys.
