And I'm ashamed to say I gave into my dark side and have listened to most of it. I'm still going to buy the album but I get impaitient sometimes.
My favorite song, like I predicted, is Just a Car Crash Away. He sings the song with so much raw emotion, it's unlike anything I've ever heard from him. Simply amazing. The rest of the album is good as well but that song is over the top for me. Though it isn't as hard rock as some would like it to be, it is still has MAnson's style written over it. WIth this album I think he's just expirementing iwht different sonds and it is a very vocally based album.
The song I disliked the most was If I Was Your Vampire. Though I do like the concept, it seemed too goth for Manson and seemed like something almost artificial from him. Don't judge this album by that song.

I haven't heard the whole thing yet, probably wont for like a really ******** long time. But don't you EVER say Marylin Manson would produce such artificiality after what Dita did to him! I'll set your mind on fire! With my MIND!!!!!!

I gave in and downloaded it also.
It's not as good as I was hoping but it's not as bad as I expected after hearing "If I Was Your Vampire".
I haven't listened to it enough to pick a favourite song yet.

OMFG, I was so excited when I saw it!I had been going onto his myspace to listen to Heart-Shaped Glasses and If I Was Your Vampire over and over for hours, as was custom since they were both released for streaming, and I was totally delighted to see the WHOLE album up. My friend had downloaded it weeks before and offered to give it to me, but I wanted to wait until MANSON decided I could have it on June fifth: hey, if he let it out now, it's perfectly legit to listen to it now. And the booklet, if you guys didn't know, is on his webbie. marilynmanson.com/booklet The whole album was MANTASTIC. My two favorite songs are If I Was Your Vampire as well as Evidence.And Just a Car Crash Away is sooo good, too. Of course, I give rave reviews on every single Manson song ever, except for the super slow versions of Dope Hat in Smells Like Children--sorry, too slow for my (slight) ADD head. lostxprincess Most of the cd I don't think is very good, but it's okay... im just happy its better than goag Better that GAOG? eek GAOG is the bombshit. Mbaph1 Yes! Just A Car Crash Away was my favorite too. There were one or two others that I really liked and one or two I really didn't care for. I didn't realize it was leaked...I just listened to the whole thing on myspace.That's what it means for an album to be leaked. Where you have acess to the music before you're 'supposed' to. Being, before it comes out in stores.

I have to say, the new album disappointed me. When I first saw it I was like 'OMFG, new Manson album! Manson!' But I was extremely unimpressed. His music is washed up and unoriginal especially when compared to his older works. Now it's hard to tell him apart from emo bands by anything other his voice which, thankfully, is still intact.

-The-Bloodiest-Romance- I have to say, the new album disappointed me. When I first saw it I was like 'OMFG, new Manson album! Manson!' But I was extremely unimpressed. His music is washed up and unoriginal especially when compared to his older works. Now it's hard to tell him apart from emo bands by anything other his voice which, thankfully, is still intact.
Definately not their best work...
