Akimoto Dorm
aka Casa de la Awesome
The dorm reserved for the Akimoto family is far from stingy, clearly made to accommodate the three siblings' needs. It begins with the simple, wood made door which reads both the room number and "Akimoto" on it. And the first thing one finds when stepping foot onto the hard wood floor is a couch...yes, a couch. A comfortable, soft, dark navy blue couch which is at a slight, diagonal angle turned to the right. The couch is easily large enough to seat three people, which is a good thing considering that three people live here! To the right of the couch, and at a slight, opposite angle of the couch is a love seat which is the same color; Made to seat, of course, two people in case there is a need when guests arrive. In between the two is a small, round table which has a thin, black vase with a single white rose in it. In front of the couch is a rectangular coffee table of sorts, which has a few random video game, anime, and popular culture magazines on it. The remote control for the television is also usually placed on this table, as well as whatever else the three residents decide to leave there. Past the table is a small cabinet, one that reaches about waist high to most. The cabinet has a pair of doors on either side, with about three shelves for putting whatever in. On top of the cabinet is a television, about twenty-four inches, perhaps a little more. Resting on top of the television is a DVD player, and underneath it, in the little open space in the cabinet, a game system with four controllers. As for the rest of the living room, a circular rug can be seen underneath the couch, love seat, and tables which is a dark red color. The walls are an off cream color, blending in with the natural light that beams through the two windows across from the room's entrance.
On the far left of the room are three wood doors in the wall, the farthest and nearest of the two closed where as the middle one if left just about halfway open. Peering through the door, one sees that it is a simple bathroom, large enough to fit a toilet, sink, two towel racks, and a decently sized shower. As for the other two rooms... Well, these are the rooms of the two male residents. The first of the two, on the left side of the middle door, is Yusake's room; Which is decorated with steal gray walls and a black carpet running along the entire floor. Littering the walls of this room are various video game, anime, and heavy metal posters, somewhat strewn about in an almost random, chaotic way. On the far right wall is a wood desk with four drawers, papers, textbooks, a swivel headed lamp, as well as a few pencils and pens. Across from that is a cabinet, similar to the one in the living room, with its own game system and two controllers set up. Like the one outside, there's a television on the top of it which is only a few inches smaller then the one in the living room. The difference with this cabinet is that, instead of doors, there are two open shelves, one with a DVD player and the other with the system. On the right and left of the cabinet are two, tall speakers, hooked into the whole set up to make a powerful, booming set of sound. Further left from the speakers is a tall rack filled with CD's, DVD's, and game discs all packed together. Across from that, just in front of the wall at the far end is Yusa's bed, as well as a small drawer where a lamp sits. The bed is framed with metal, painted black, matching the rest of the bed's black appearance. In front of the bed is a door, and through that a small closet for Yusake to keep all of his clothing, his shirts, pants, shoes, what have you.
As for the other room, that belongs to Kujiro, clear by its internal appearance. Beyond the wood door is a room with the color of the dark and of blood, a black carpet on the bottom with various, dark red lines forming symbols that run along it. The design ends there though, the walls a solid black color, making for a rather intimidating appearance. At the far left corner of the wall, when first entering, there is a desktop PC situated with a flat screen monitor on a dark wood desk. The computer is connected to the internet, and obviously pricey by the looks of it, given a black chassis to match the dark decor of the room. Next to the desk is a tall bookshelf, filled with hard back books of various color, all neatly arranged and kept in an even pattern. Next to that is a black wardrobe, as there is no closet in this room for Kujiro to keep his clothing and things. Across from that, on the opposite wall is another desk, situated with a single wood chair in front of it and various, neatly stacked papers and carefully arranged pens and pencils. On the desk is a black headed lamp, and further above that is an extravagant painting of a lavish and very elaborate city built within a vast landscape. Left of that is a rack that's almost chest high, containing several different, elegant swords of varying origins and nationalities. Above that is a large symbol, hanging on the wall... The symbol appears as a pair of wings raised into the air, with a single circle that surrounds the center of these wings, and six lines curving upward above the wings. The symbol appears in gold, contrasting the otherwise dark appearance of the room... Next to the rack is another, single stand which looks to be used for a specific sword. And next to that, there is Kujiro's bed, also framed with black, though wood instead of metal, the bed itself is equal in size to Yusake's and just as black.
Now, as for the wall across from these three rooms, there are but two rooms of notice. The first is the one nearer to the door, a kitchen with white tile instead of wood floors, one which has a few counters, an oven and stove, a refrigerator, a sink, and a rectangular table in the middle for both general use and for dining. Next to this room is another wood door, this time leading into Gabriella's room. This room, to some, could be considered a contrast to her brother's... Where as to others, it can be considered as a mixture between the two. Like with her brother's, the room has black carpet, though the walls are a dark, navy blue hue instead of black or gray. There are posters of various anime on the walls, ranging from cute to violent and action filled. On the right is a counter, and above it are several shelves, all literally filled with figurines and little idols. Across from it is a desk with a PC, obviously connected to the internet for Gabriella's own needs. Like the walls, the computer's chassis is a dark, navy blue hue rather then the black of her twin brother's. Next to the computer, a bit away from it though, is a cabinet with a television equal to the size of the one in the living room. Below it is a shelf and two doors, a game system in the shelf with two controllers, and various game cases inside the two doors in the cabinet. On either side of the cabinet are speakers, though about half the size of Yusake's. And in front of the cabinet are two, dark navy blue, beanbag chairs. And to the right, across from the cabinet, is a large cabinet shelf filled with even more game cases, DVD's, manga books, etc. Above that is an interesting setup, two rather large, box barreled revolvers... One silver, the other black, held together in an X like fashion. Next to this is a rather odd sort, a rack with a literal hodgepodge of weapons. The most noticeable is easily a large, straight, great sword in a thick sheath that practically has to lean against the wall to keep from falling. Next to it is an elegantly crafted, sheathed nodachi without a hand guard, designed with a dark blue wrap and gold along its hilt, as well as two thin tassel. In front of that is a straight sword, looking more European, which is held in a straight red scabbard. And, next to that, is an oddly folded, curved blade connected to a large ring, appearing to have three other blades as part of it.
Finally, at the end of this room is the bed, though unlike the other two rooms, the bed is facing the door rather then turned sideways. On the left of the bed is a door leading into a bathroom, which is a little larger then the other bathroom, with its own bath and shower rather then just a shower. To the right of the bed is a closet, a noticeably sizable closet with various clothing and other such personal items of dear Gabriella's.
And thus, this is the dorm of the Akimoto siblings, their own personally little space among the school, each having their own room for their own use!
