in my club, a new trend has began for resolving any issues between 2 people. it is... the 3 weapon challenge!!! nice and simple. the 2 people fence to 15 in each weapon. highest score at the end wins. but there a forfeits. the standard one at our club is the loser has to carry the kit of the winners to the pub and buy the drinks for the winner and the ref. also in the one ive been challenged to, the loser has to write a 3 minute speech or a poem of how the other person is a better fencer than then. there is also another forfeit if the winner actually wins all 3 weapons aswell. this one has to be worse than the basic forfeit. for instance in the one ive been challenged to, if i win all 3 i get to shave his head to a grade 1, and if he wins all 3 he gets to wax my legs.
the forfeits dont have to be so extreme, he just kept upping the ante ( i will post the results in about 48 hours). but the forfeits could just be bragging rights. or as happened in the last 3WC, the loser ended up wearing a dress while we all had a meal at the pub that sponsors us.
i hope this trend catches on. it really is good fun

well unfortunatly for him i won all 3 weapons. epee 15-14 sabre 15-5 foil 15-10. i didnt really want to shave his head but i was told it had to be done so i charged people 2 pounds each to take a strip off his head. all proceeds went to the club for more kit.
