So Mega Man is called Rock Man in Japan, and along with his sister Roll are a very clever play on words in respects to the rock’n’roll music genre.

I don't have a clue why but chemercially he's somehow taken on the another nick name as the Blue Bomber, but he's not all the explosives oriented really. Still it's kinda cool.
