Character Appearance
standing at 5' 4" Ember is at average height with a slender frame. She is not weak or intimidating. She has the structure of an average athlete. Her skin is on the border between tan and pale. She exotic black hair that reaches mid black and shines blue if hit by the sun. She is very petite but strong and not heavy chested, more around an average size. She usually wears cargo pants with a tank while her hair is tied up with a red ribbon to keep it out of her face. She is at the age of 17.

Personality
Ember is very straight forward and not afraid to speak her mind. Usually shy around strangers Ember isn't very well at meeting new people. She is usually alone and by herself since she is too shy to go and meet someone. When she is comfortable with a person though they will find out that she has a great sense of humor and is an all around nice person. Though she has a silly nature if the time calls she can become serious. She has usually a laid back personality and believes in taking breaks. Ember is very understanding and loves helping the people she finds to be dear to her. She is highly intelligent but at times can be very slow.

Character Background
Ember has a overall nice and peaceful background and with few interesting things happening. Even though not many things happen in her life she is always willing to go out and have an exciting adventure!

She was raised in the country on a nice farm. Her parents were laid back and easy with her. They raised her properly and with manners. They soon found her interests in reading and drawing local animals. She learned quickly and has an excellent memory. She surpassed others in her grade level, but didn't socialize much and tended to stay with the animals. Being more comfortable with animals she soon came to gain certain traits such as growling, hissing, and even biting when angered. When pleased she would purr happily.

Living in the country caused her to have a great liking for the outdoors. She was never inside for long and was found exploring the country side. Even though many sports would allow her to be outside she preferred doing what she pleased. She would go on imaginary quests around their simple farm finding new and exciting things.

when she wasn't with the animals around the house she was either with her mother or father. When she spent time with her father it was usually in the evening when he got back from the daily chores. They would sit down reading a book or swap stories of what went on during their days. Sometimes if her father came home early he would show her how to do certain chores around the house and answer her various questions. While her father was at work she would also spend time with her mother. Her mother would teach her various recipes for when she moved out on her own and needed to cook a filling meal. She would teach other things such as sowing or knitting a blanket together.

When she was at the age of 12 she had met a girl who shared some of her same interests. They would play together from dawn till dusk and never get bored. Nothing seemed to be able to tear them apart. One day though a new boy came into town and immediately Ember loved him! He was everything she liked in a guy (at her age anyways). With her mind preoccupied with the boy she didn't realize her friends despair. In a desperate attempt to get back at Ember for ignoring her she went to a group of city girls who had just moved into the town. With their evil ideas she soon set to work getting back at her. One day Ember had gotten a note from her crush that said to meet him after school. What she didn't know is that her crush got the same note and she was falling into her friends plan. After school she had just turned the corner to where she was suppose to meet him only to come face to face with her best friend kissing the boy she liked. In her shocked state she dropped her books causing the two to look at her. With tears filling her eyes and heart ripped she ran away from the scene and she never heard from the two again. Even though her friend betrayed her in her jealous rage Ember did not stop wanting to have friends or became cold to everyone.

School to Ember was a breeze and she seemed to always pass with flying colors. Though she was what people called a genius she refused many opportunities to skip or advance in her class. Studying was also not her thing and was unneeded for her. Bullying was once and problem, but after she knocked the bully down with one hit no one seemed to mess with her. She helps the other kids that suffer from the similar problem she had. Even though she will fight back she doesn't believe violence is the answer and actually helps people with their anger problems. She cant hold a grudge so she cant ever stay angry at someone for long.

She plays guitar and had first started when she was in high school. She discovered her liking for the instrument when she had stayed behind in music class and tried it out. She found it relaxing and stress releasing. She was invited to join a band but declined preferring to do what she liked cause she liked it and not for a job. Her father noticing her interest bought her a brand new Flying 'V'. Its a flaming red and she never parts with it. She brings it to school and practices in the music room daily.

Ember is now looking into some art or music colleges due to her early graduation. She has several scholarships and hopes to make the best of them. She believes in making people happy and wants to take a course in cartoning and business administration so she may start her own company. She also decided if this did not work out she would become a writer for children's books and a few fantasies

Arrival
wanting to finally be on her own in a peaceful place she decided to move to Cape fear. Her intention was to settle down and find a nice college near where she now lives.
