Ok, so I just watched the third Naruto movie...and maybe it was because I was going into it with really low expectations...but I LOVED it. I personally thought that the animation was awesome and the fight scenes ruled. True it had some goofy parts...but y'know..Circus. Goofy. Anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. So now I'm curious to know what y'all think about this movie and the first two!
Also, there will obviously be discussions on the plots of these movies, so if you don't want to be spoiled you might want to watch all three first before reading around the thread! 3nodding

You beat me to it! I was going to make a Movie thread! Oh well...
I had the exact same reaction you did for #3, I had pretty low expectations too.
I still think it was a bit below the first movie though, because the promises and friendship speaches were just a little over done. I mean, they made another friendship or promise comment every five minutes when we all know that they're never going to see each other again!
And they never explained the villans with wigs thing... that angered me.
It was a cute movie though. (Kakashi-pirate PWNs all)
I loved the first one, it just had alot of action and good art.
The second one....
Lets just leave it as "I only liked it for the ferret".

Although the second movie had some badass (though FEW ) scenes with Gaara...then he fell out of the movie... But in the third, I about had a geek seizure when Lee whupped out with the nunchucks....and then proceeded to do all that cool stuff with those. Yup, totally digging the third movie.

But the Nun-chucks were just the copyright-infringement-flavored icing on the Dedacation-to-a-celebrity cake. And yes, that fight was made of awesome and win. 3nodding

THIRD MOVIE WAS THE BEST ONE! though i barely payed attention to the plot, it was all bout the funnies with meh.
