I was having a discussion with my mom about what kind of music is bad to listen to. I know the basic No-Nos (like swearing, no music that talk about other gods and such) My mom thinks that all non-Christian music is bad. Expect instrumental. I wanna be really sure because I don't want to listen to music that I'm not supposed to. gonk Oh, yeah. Is this artist ok it listen to? http://www.myspace.com/sondrelerche

Awesome sig... Wir waren besser geboren! I actually listen to many things. and do NOT let people tell you that old school rock and roll was evil. The song "Stairway to Heaven" was about America's course through history, the song "Highway to Hell" was about the Rock and Roll party life style int he eye of the Christian community. I recommend Guilty Gear for instrumental guitar... or Buckethead for awesome instrumental. The only problem there is the standard Album cover... I dunno your mom's opinion on Magic but most of their cover have some kind of magic or human fighting a monster... something like that.

CW Hart And here I thought Stairway to Heaven was about a woman who used drugs to gain her idea of heaven confused That is what it sounds like isn't it... but it is about America and the way America deals with all it's problems and the power it holds.

My mom's opinion of magic is...well is that it's REALLY REALLY EVIL. ninja

Not that I know of but there is Highway to hell... did I write Stairway to hell?! It was a joke razz . But honestly Highway to Hell was about partying I know, but in the eyes of the christians. Well I guess I get the idea. "I'm going to hell when I die, and when I get there I'm going to party some more."

The world had a pretty harsh view of rock and roll and the bands felt it... Their style of life just wasn't accepted... have you ever heard "The Trial" by Pink Floyd? Good morning, the worm, your honour, The crown will plainly show, The prisoner who now stands before you, Was caught red-handed showing feelings. Showing feelings of an almost human nature. This will not do.
Call the schoolmaster!
I always said hed come to no good, In the end, your honour. If theyd let me have my way, I could have flayed him into shape. But my hands were tied. The bleeding hearts and artists, Let him get away with murder. Let me hammer him today.
Crazy. Toys in the attic, I am crazy. Truly gone fishing. They must have taken my marbles away. (crazy. toys in the attic, he is crazy.)
You little s**t, youre in it now. I hope they throw away the key. You shouldve talked to me more often than you did. But no! you had to go your own way. Have you broken any homes up lately? Just five minutes, worm, your honour, Him and me alone.
Baaaaaabe! Come to mother, baby. Let me hold you in my arms. Mlord, I never meant for him to get in any trouble. Whyd he ever have to leave me? Worm, your honour, let me take him home.
Crazy. Over the rainbow, I am crazy. Bars in the window. There must have been a door there in the wall. For when I came in. . . (crazy. over the rainbow, he is crazy.)
The evidence before the court is incontravertible. Theres no need for the jury to retire. In all my years of judging I have never heard before, Of someone more deserving of the full penalty of the law. The way you made them suffer, Your exquisite wife and mother, Fills me with the urge to deficate! -- no, judge, the jury! Since, my friend, you have revealed your deepest fear, I sentence you to be exposed before your peers. Tear down the wall!

Oh man The Trial from The Wall. Dude I saw the video from the movie. I love triped out songs like that.
Anyhoo, looking back now they are legends. But it's hard for people to except what is differant. And they were very much differant.

The devil's music can be summed up in one word: polka.
