I'm not sure how advanced I would consider myself to be, but I could help put together exercises or something, perhaps?

Why not just throw together a site, while you're at it? Then it could be worked by people worldwide. You could divide it into chapters with a navigation bar, and it would be kind of an online workbook kind of thing.

You could divide it into chapters with a navigation bar, and it would be kind of an online workbook kind of thing. Frankly, that's 10 times as much work, and I'm sure I'm not the only one with a lot of other stuff that needs to come first.

I am not advanced at all and I think that weekly lessions would be a great idea. But tou should have people sign up for them so that you can know who is in your class and you can know who needs the most help. You can have your students send you a template of their knowledge in the language. It will show you what levels you are dealing with.
If that helped at all, and if not then I am sorry. But I like the idea of lessions, I need some practice before school starts up agian...

I'll try putting something together. It'll be up in the German forum as I get it assembled.

I think weekly German lessons is a really good idea for those that need extra help or want to learn and aren't. The only problem I can see with that is the lack of pronunciation and speaking. Being able to learn how to say the words and each different sound is very important, and can help in many ways, especially if you know how it sounds, but can't remember how to spell the words. Lessons in grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure would be very helpful, but not being able to teach the sounds would make it a bit more difficult.
Anyways...just my one cent on the matter. XD

If you have a microphone and speakers on your computer, you can speak over AIM (and probably other instant message programs as well). Also, since this guild is primarily aimed at people who are in either Spanish or German in school, I would assume that their teacher(s) can help with pronunciation and listening.
