Woot! Happy May Day!
May Day, otherwise known as International Workers' Day, has long been a day of celebration and activism among leftists around the world. It was organized by the Second Internationale as a commemoration of riots in Chicago which had occurred on that same day. May Day, or Labour Day, as it is called, quickly became a symbolic day of activism. In the United States, however, Labor Day was moved to September in order that the US could distance itself from communism during the Cold War.
In recent years in the US May Day again gained significance as the labor movement and the immigration movement became allies. Immigration protests became widespread, and the ideas of internationalism were propagated...

I know i'm posting a little late.
Nothing really happened here in Montreal (that i know of)
but for some reason, my communist friend and I got e-mails requesting us to join the military demonstration on mayday at Athens Greece "curses! I was just there from july to august last year!"

Same here hope it wasnt the one where people got shot by rubber bullets No, the cops weren't bothering us, although they sometimes have for other reasons like at anti Iraq war marches several people have been tasered and/or arrested (from experience, being tasered is one of the most painful things that's ever happened to me). Although AKA (Anti-Racist-Action) was being bothered by the cops and we got in an argument with one, the ISO (International Socialist Organization) was there too!

Happy May Day, six friggin days late due to too much school work to get on here! And WTF? I'm at the library, and it's letting me on here, but it won't let me into any lolita guilds. It keeps popping up this webpage that says they'e pornographic -_-

Nanie-chan Happy May Day, six friggin days late due to too much school work to get on here! And WTF? I'm at the library, and it's letting me on here, but it won't let me into any lolita guilds. It keeps popping up this webpage that says they'e pornographic -_- Ehh to you also a belated May Day, I don't know of your lolita stuff my school has blockers on that bans you on everything, though now its down due to unseen things.....that transpired. lol

There's other ways too.
