It has wandered to the center of Katarina, on it's own, with a band of shiny tangela, sudowoodos, and a starmie. Then immediately, the pokemon gathered together and FORMED A GIANT CHRISTMAS TREE OF DOOM with the Shaymin inside. Now what? What will you do to face this giant pokemon tree and perhaps charm the Shaymin inside to accompany you? Will you attack the tree? Somehow befriend it? Even DECORATE it? Ends December 17th [b]Reply:[/b] Renekai was happily wandering around the festival, admiring the bright lights and scents. Her purse was all ready considerably lighter than it had been, and her belly was full with cotton candy, candy canes, candy, and more candy. Renekai had been running around before, but all the candy sloshing around in her belly made her feel sick, so she contented herself with walking. Suddenly, the back of Renekai's neck prickled as she sensed that someone was watching her... Renekai looked nervously over her shoulder. There were lots of people there, but no one that looked particularly suspcious. Well, maybe that guy all dressed in black with a giant 'R' on his chest was questionable, but... Renekai continued walking. No sooner did she start, she had the feeling again. Very carefully, Renekai looked to one side. Just some shops. She looked to the other. More stands. She looked behind once again. No one there except shoppers and salespeople. She looked forward. AAH!! As she had not been paying attention, she had almost walked right into a tent. Swerving and almost losing her balance, Renekai managed to avoid the disaster. As soon as she relaxed, however, she felt the presence again... Despite her stomach, Renekai broke into a run. When she reached an ally, she stopped her catch her breath. But the sense of being watched remained. Ever so slowly, Renekai looked behind her. And then, even more slowly, she looked down. Then Renekai blinked, rubbed her eyes, and looked again. Either the candy was getting to her, or there was a Shaymin right behind her. "Umm," Renekai said, but before she could say another word, a pile of shiny tangela covered the shaymin. Next, a hoard of sudowoodo picked up the tangela even as they swarmed over each other like ants over food. Finally, when at last they seemed organized, a starmie rolled in out of nowhere and topped the tower. A perfect likeness to a Christmas tree. Renekai stared for a full minute. She didn't even blink, which made her eyes very dry when she came to her senses. "... I wonder what was in that candy," she muttered. "Last time I buy food at a festival..." Renekai groaned as her stomach complained about her recent run. "I don't believe this..." Renekai started to leave the ally, but the only exit was blocked by the tree. "You know what? You're missing something." Renekai fished some spare pokeballs out of her bag and started placing them on the 'tree'. The tangela would wrap one vine around the pokeball and then hold it where Renekai indicated. When Renekai was out of pokeballs, she put her pokemon on the tree, still inside their respective balls. Renekai laughed at the Christmas tree. "Merry Christmas!" Renekai said. Then she sat down on a box. If she really was delusional, maybe she was better off away from the rest of the crowd. She waited for five minutes, but the tree didn't move. Finally Renekai got up, sighed, and said, "May I please have my pokeballs back?" To her surprise, all of the pokeballs came flying at her. When she had rounded them all up, she noticed that one pokeball was still in a tangela's vine. The tree swayed, then suddenly collapsed and all the pokemon ran away except for two: the tangela with the pokeball and the shaymin. When the tangela saw that it was all alone, it panicked, throwing the pokeball into the air and running away. The pokeball turned through the air, then hit the shaymin on the head, sucking it in. Renekai slowly approached. What had just happened? Carefully, she put the pokeball in her bag. Stomach still churning, Renekai reentered the festival, acting as if nothing had happened. She could not be sure if the shaymin was real until tomorrow, when the candy would be out of her system. Until then, time to see the rest of the festival!
