Well, technically speaking, both the knife and sword are sub types of a vibro blade, as vibro blade describes the type of blade, not the insturment it's attached to. ((Though many people assume sword when you say blade.

um. that's all. Jedi don't get anything more than a lightsaber. Sometimes knights requisition other things, but only them. And...did I rate your character yet? I can't remember...

vibro blade refers to longsword size weapons. 3 ft blade, handle, that's it. Vibro dagger refers to dagger sized vibro weapon.
a vibro axe, is an axe.
Then there's normal swords, daggers, etc.
A Vibro rapier would be classified as a vibro blade, as would a vibro cutlass. In addition to this, it wouldn't be called a vibro sword, just a vibro blade.
