Stop Sylvia BrowneHelp spread the word about the con-artist/devil-woman, Sylvia Browne. Not only is she a cold reader hiding behind the guise of "psychic," she is a terrible cold reader hiding behind the guise of "psychic." Shame on Montel...

Seriously. I ******** hate Montel as much as Dr. Phil, now, thanks to his hosting that soul parasite.
Interestingly enough, Bright Eyes' new album, Cassadaga, draws many parallels between the charlatanism of spirtists and readers and the current American ethical state of being. It starts off with a sardonically placed clip of Sylvia blathering about what she feels around her.

It starts off with a sardonically placed clip of Sylvia blathering about what she feels around her. How can Montel, an otherwise good, well educated man host that woman in good coincidence? He even plays into it and actually helps her our when Browne is floundering on stage (which is often.) I guess he gave into the money. And because of that, any respect that I could originally afford Montel is completely gone. ITT: Terrible human beings with wasted and misused talent.

Every day when I get out of my research methods class I wlk past Montel's studio on the way to the train. Every day it's a "Sylvia day" I see a lovely limo parked outside. Nice to see she puts her money towards helping the people she rips off. Or mabye Montel comps her a limo so she can help drum up bussiness among the grieving and desperate.
On an aside, I have been to Cassadaga back when I was a believer to have my future read.
I'm not a lawyer and I don't live in Greece rolleyes Aboust as accurate as old Sylvia the seacow.

I'm so glad that you and I were able to pull our heads out of the mud of religious and spiritual delusion. Go us!

Theophrastus I'm so glad that you and I were able to pull our heads out of the mud of religious and spiritual delusion. Go us! No kidding. Less prey for Sylvia and co. I need to ebay off my old New Age books, they have been occupying a box marked "bullshit' in my garage for quite some time.

Heh, funny you should say that; my girl and I are cleaning out the basement and she's selling off all her astrology books. I'm throwing in some Scientology books that were given to me by my uncle when I visited him. To them I can only say, "lol!"

Cross-posted at GAU. http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=20753s**t on a stick. This woman idolized her fallen hero so much she managed to not only agree with but make more radical the atrocious claims, blame and lies spread by this hateful little toad. Please read and share your thoughts.

Ann Coulter on Jerry Falwell. I don't know if I want to read that. Nothing of worth ever came from either of their writings... let alone their lives. To counter, here is Hitchens talking about Falwell after his death- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkAPaEMwyKUNo holds barred.

I love me some Hitchens. Do I always agree with him? No. But I wish more people were like him.
...the accent helps, too.

I actually appreciate the fact that Coulter is Falwell's replacement. People who agreed with Falwell will be less likely even to listen to Coulter because she's a woman and these people are more likely to be sexist.

People who agreed with Falwell will be less likely even to listen to Coulter because she's a woman and these people are more likely to be sexist. I disagree. They won't care that she is woman, because she is barely human. After all, no caring human being would call widows of 9-11 greedy "witches".
