My boyfriend broke up with me last night, and I know I shouldn't cry over him, but I can't help it. I feel terrible, I mean he even told me that it was because of MY fault. Because I wasn't ready to do anything sexually yet. So he just up and dropped me last night, telling me that "Well going out was your idea right?"
"NO IT WASN"T! It was YOUR idea! You asked me to be YOUR girlfriend!!!"
How many of you other girls ever gone through something like this? Do they ALWAYS blame you for THEM deciding to break up with you? I mean he says it's my fault and I feel terrible, just because I didn't want to make out every five seconds!!! STUPID BOYS!!! crying >< >< >< ><
The weirdest part of all was my mom then telling me, "Well maybe you should go out with girls then." Has your mom ever asked you to try being a lesbian because it didn't work out with your boyfriend? Or is mine just special?

that's awful.
he's a cad.
it's disgraceful what this world has come to, where a girl is pressurised into sex and gets dumped if she refuses. what happened to the good old days when men like that were despised, shunned and cast out by other men?
i blame hollywood. without it we'd still be snappy dressers and have manners.
when breaking up with someone, the decent gentlemanly thing to do, regardless of what you personally feel, is to tell them it's not their fault, it's yours.
he doesn't deserve a girlfriend.
and i will say this, it really isn't your fault- that's just his selfish perspective. it's not your fault you don't want to have sex, it's HIS fault for wanting to have sex. he could easily have waited until you were ready- he just got greedy.
as for the lesbian idea, well it's really a question of what you find attractive. if you don't like girls in that way, there's little you can do about it.
if it's any consolation, i not only know of mothers who encourage homosexuality in their children, but i also personally know a mother who IS a lesbian. mind you, i'm from england, where we accept and tolerate everything except nazis. xd

I agree with ^ but, no, my mom has never said that, it would be weird though.

Wow, I can't believe he broke up with you over something like that and then blame you for it. That was really insensitive and selfish of him. What I couldn't believe the most was that he thought "going out" meant having sex when he wanted it. I hope you're feeling better *hugs*

ok, that does it! Insensitive guys are asses! why is it that most nice girls end up with an a**? My mom ended up with an a**, thing is though, most of the family believes I'll be the only nice girl in the family to end up with a nice guy....pshh, that'll be the day! God, almost 18, Graduated from high school and still no boy friend
