On a side note about the con, and I do not mean this to attack anybody in anyway, I am religious but I try to have a sense of humor. My girlfriend as well, but she's a sensitive girl and Cosplay Jesus upsets her slightly. Myself as well, a little, but as I said I try to have a sense of humor.. I wonder if I'm remembered. I was the guy who jokingly tried to stop the Conga line (on Sunday I believe), and then ran for the hills when I predictably failed. My friend called me an idiot. XD
Anyway, I'm not asking Cosplay Jesus to stop being Cosplay Jesus. It's his choice and freedom to do so. ^^; Just speaking my mind. Pay no attention to this banter if you don't want to. Just hoping he doesn't do anything blasphemous that would upset religious peoples.

No offence but if someones so religious to the point that seeing that would even upset you, then your having your own problem, that shouldn't be there, and your not being religious in the right way or point of view.
You need to remember that jesus/god is loving and understanding and he too has a sense of humor. If he has seen this cosplay jesus, he probly would be laughing and being amused whole heartedly.

I think that The Cosplay Jesus is all done in good humor too. I mean, some of his LARPs (the random things he does) is pretty good. I was a homunculus last year and he told me that god forgave all sins if they would only see the light...he also asked god's forgiveness at the youi/yuri dating game.
He doesnt want people to be maddened by it, in fact, he acts quite reasonably and respectfully, properly representing religious figures.

ya i'm christain too but i dont see anything wrong with it, he gose every year like that. I actually know him, i meet him at my mall at suncoat last year beofe last years con. He went to my skool.
But anyways, i like how at least people know who he is. So people know bout teh bible and Jesus. I find that cool.

I wasn't offended by it. But I get personally annoyed when people go to an anime convention and dress up as someone who is not from an anime or video game. But that's just one of my cosplay pet peeves, and I'm not annoyed enough to not see the humor in it. I can't fault him for just trying to have a good time.
But I can also understand why people would be offended by it. People have specific religious views, and I can see how that would grate against them.

He goes every year though, saw him last year as well.

Cosplay Jesus made me happy the way Waldo made me happy. I didn't expect to see him and it was a goofy thing to do. The fact he does it every year and the fact that he actually LARPs it out is great. Power to him.. not that he needs more power. He's Jesus.
And as we all know, Jesus is Magic.
