 Perhaps you can help me, Sir Oscar.
I love taking every opportunity to play a fanfare with my trumpet, but my portrait is very large. I'm pretty sure that I can upload it into Photobucket in a smaller form, but I would like it to appear in my posts BESIDE the text. Eirwyn seems to be able to do this when she posts for Furamir. Could you ask her to tell me the trick?

Indeed, Alex! That took some thought (and examining the posts of other Gaians who learnt the trick)!
When you post your portrait, use the "image left" tags--or right, if you prefer. Examine one of Furamir's posts by choosing to quote it (you don't actually need to post, you can back out when you finish) to see how it is done. When you post your image in this manner, it will appear to the side rather than above the text. 3nodding
