Don't know if anyone else knows.. but Free Comic Book Day is May 5th.. which is the day after Spider-Man 3 opens...
I'll be going down the city (toronto) to get my free comics, plus a few others (need to fill in the gaps in my civil war collection) then I'm going to see SM3!!

I'd try to cash in on Free Comics Day as well, but the city I currently reside in does not have a comic shop. The last one that sold comics/graphic novels was boycotted by the city itself. They kept upping land taxes and harassing the shop until they closed up.

i can get free comics?
tell me more about this free comic book day...
incidentally May 5th is three days before my birthday... and one day after my friends birthday.
we would be quite happy with some free comics.
i have some comics on my to-purchase list thanks to Voltaire! Voltaire!

go to http://www.freecomicbookday.com and click on the where to get free comics link (it's flashing) then enter your postal code or zip code and boom! find the nearest one to you

i'm looking forward to free comic book day, the comic shop i go to, Rouge's Gallery, is going to have the Artice of the Uncanny X-men: Rise and Fall of the She'irk (sorry, for got there name and how it's spelled). also the guy who has the new thing Phantom High, witch they will also be giving out for free.
