"Raaaah! C'mon, get in there!" Aria snarled, pushing the contents of the box in front of her down. Each downward shoved was accented by an "In! In! In!" from the euppie as she attempted to restock her medikit. Well, perhaps "restock" wasn't the correct term -- "overstock" certainly fit it. It was crammed packed with all sorts of floppy disks, bandages, cans of air and such equipment that a healer and expert at repairs would ne-- was that a hammer?!
"HA!" Aria snapped out with one hand and slapped the lid of her box down, her other hand barely getting free in time. "Hoo, I'd hate to open that again," she mused, snapping the box shut with a satisfying click. "I hope I won't have to use this soon," she rose, knelt, and picked up her medikit again, staggering under its weight. "I'd hate to repack this!"

Sephiroth was... thrilled. He'd managed to slip out his stupid little glass prison and escape before Skie had been able to catch him. He was free to do as he pleased. He stood, perfectly balanced, on a branch that swayed in the gentle breeze as he surveyed his surroundings as he debated on which location would be graced with his presence. He'd been cooped up in that glass jar for too long and felt a need to burn something. Life hadn't been nearly as chaotic or destructive as he liked.
Eyes narrowed as he heard the distinctive click of a medikit. Ah, amusement had been found. Taking off from his perch, Sephiroth went in search of that sound, keen eyes and ears alert for any sound. It had been entirely too long since he had last had the chance to test his swordsmanship.

ErrEKH! The noise was... almost like a squeak. But not. Silversol poked his face about the grass as he wandered about, making this squeaking-noise; he wasn't full-grown, so he was not yet able to roar. No one was around as far as he could see, not even the singing-creature that made such pretty music.
He heard a noise. What noise was this? His head perked up from among the blades, seeking the source. Bah, someone was around. Wait a minute... THEY WERE IN HIS TERRITORY! He immediately turned about and charged, snarling.

Aria stopped, taking a moment to look over her shoulder. No one was watching her -- she could hear her caretaker inside, talking to someone. For now, luckily, she wasn't being watched. Content with that, Aria jumped off the windowsill and fell down... down... ohboy.
FWHUMP!
"Owww!" She stood up and rubbed her now sore rump, wincing and standing up again. A quick check of her systems showed that she felt a bit bruised, but that was it. She knelt down to pick up her box, freezing upon hearing Silversol's roar. But... where did it come from?! The grass looked SO much shorter when she was higher up. Aria grabbed her box and clung to it, looking around and slowly edging left in an attempt to locate... whatever sound that was.

Sephiroth paused in his pursuit of the sound just long enough to register the snarl and the charging form beneath him. Leaping off the branch, he somersaulted in the air and landed a little behind the creature. A monster? Here?
He didn't think it was an elf. The only one's he'd seen were Skie's and the others. No monsters had been among their ranks. Dashing to catch up, he cut across the beast's field of vision to draw it's attention to him. He wanted to know what it was and the best way to do that was to challenge it.

Finding a new target, Silversol stopped short. Or at least, he tried. In typical Rathalos fashion, he tripped over his own feet and slid his length, face in the dirt. He picked himself up hastily, raising his wings and growling. He was undaunted by the fact that this person was bigger than he was; this was his territory!
Having failed his charge, he decided on a different approach. Light sparked up in the grass as he spat a fireball at this new intruder.

Wait, what happened to the sharp hiss of grass? Aria tilted her head to one side in confusion, peering into the grass. Even though she landed on some, it was still big and a bit intimidating. Aria reached out and grasped the nearest leaf blade, turning it this way and that. "Ooh, flexible! I can make lots of bandages with these~" She purred, taking a firmer grip on it to pull before stopping.
Was that... another squeak? No, it was more of a rrr-rrr-rrr, but close enough for a growl. The flash of light that followed merely perked her interest, sending her into a brisk jog towards where she had last seen the sizzle of light.

The sizzle of grass behind him alerted Sephiroth to the incoming fireball and he dodged, rolling to the side as the embers splashed across his cloack. He came up on one knee, his sword out and at the ready. So this beast wanted to fight to readily?
Excellent!
Smirking, he dashed at the beast, seemingly disappearing as he leapt into the air and spun about, swiping at the crown ringing Silversol's head, landing easily just behind Silversol's hind legs.

The slice broke most of the spikes off of Silversol's head, sending bits of shell flying. Enraged, he turned about quickly and tried to whack his attacker with his pointy tail-club. The little wyvern emitted an angry (but unfittingly squeaky) snarl that would have meant "GO AWAY THIS PLACE IS MINE", but was clearly not in an understandable language.

Sephiroth blocked the whip just in time to avoid being impaled but was flung away. His cloak snapped open wide and his dug into the ground and stopped, smiling as he noticed the broken crown. So he could cut things off? Intriguing!
He pondered simply finishing it there but decided to toy with it. Standing upright, he lowered the sword and gestured for the beast to come at him. This would be amusing.

He had more sense than to charge facefirst into a waiting opponent; Silversol leapt upward and flapped his wings hard, gaining altitude. This... this intruder had broken off his crown! He was a Rathalos, King of the Heavens, and now his crown was lost?
He'd have to get him back.
His head turned and spat a fireball at Sephiroth's feet, the projectile exploding on impact with the ground.

"Aw! I was sure I heard it over here..." Aria whined, shoving her way through the grass, searching for the two combatants. She could hear the squeaky-roar of... something and -- look! Aria stopped and looked up, watching as Silversol flapped his way up and into the air. She stared at him for a moment. "It's... so bald."
Then it shot a fireball.
Aria dropped her kid and dived to one side, looking up and feeling slighly cheated when it wasn't directed at her. Oh, well -- it was aimed at something, so she might as well go see what the fuss was about. She grabbed her kit and jogged in the direction she could have sworn she saw the blast at, hoping not to get lost again.

Sephiroth frowned, so it was an intelligent beast at the very least. The fireball exploded and scorched his clothing, bathing his face in searing heat. He stepped forward, smiling as he slice an arc through burning grass. How refreshing. The heat rose in waves and set his eyes aglow.
A split second later, he ran forward, leaping high up into the air bash the pommel of his sword into the carapace on Silversol's back as he arched through the air. Attention on the wyvern, he nearly didn't notice as he landed directly in front of the searching Aria.
Spinning, he side stepped and sent a scathing glare at the intruder after a brief appraisal of the nurse revealed she wasn't a threat at all. That didn't mean he wouldn't use her as a pawn in his duel with the wyvern, however.

Ow. That bash across his back really hurt. At least he was still airborne; Silversol hauled himself back upward and pivoted to follow his target, seeing not one, but now two intruders standing in his land. At least they were close together. Fire erupted again as he spat another projectile at them. GraAAAaau!!

Well, that made the search easy. Aria blinked and stared at Sephiroth, her jaw dropping in disbelief. "YOU!" She shrieked swinging her heavy med kit at Sephiroth. "Take THIS!" She remembered what she did to her poor Fere-tto, and she wasn't about to let such an opprotunity for revenge get away!
...Of course, with her being focused on Sephiroth, she didn't notice that the wyvren had spat fire, nor that it was still up in the air. In fact, when the fireball did arrive... "AHHH, I LIKED THAT HAT!" She screeched, stopping her persuit of Sephiroth in order to whip her hat off and beat the flames out of it. Hurray for being shorter than average!
