me, i just scrabble them down, somewhat organized under sections and somewhat not. xd it also kinda depends on how the teacher lectures. but it works for me.
i like to draw lots of visuals, especially in bio.
and i use internet slang a lot in them
and make dumb jokes in the margins. D:
i like drawing happy faces on enzymes and cells and shiz. n 3n
and i doodle a lot in the margins. like penguins and lil chibi peeps and stuff.
i swear, if someone got one of my notes pages, they'd probably wonder if i pay attention in class at all. emo but i promise dat i dooooo.

I rarely have to take notes, because my school is stupid. Not to say I like taking notes, it's just notes are sometimes necessary.
But when I do, I just do the traditional way of just the main points, details, and other crap. Most of it I can remember without having to write it down. And taking notes usually makes it harder for me to remember things. It's more of an organizational struggle instead, which doesn't help much.

some of my teachers in high school used to make us turn in our notes after lectures. neutral it's like, wtf? what's the point of taking them if we don't even get to keep them?
then they did this stupid thing where they gave us a certain note-taking system, and we had to turn THOSE in. i don't know what they were on when they put that into the curriculum. it was the most retarded thing ever.
