It had taken three more days of hard riding to reach Lowen. It was a decent sized town, So he had to be very careful. It was the dead of night, and he stood in the middle of an old, huge cemetary. He had to be VERY careful...

Fritz yawned widely. he hated night watch. Holdin his lantern in his left hand, he proceeded to go back and forth between the tombstones. until he heard some odd chanting...Looking a little further down the mists deeper into the graveyard, He saw three people standing by a grave.
"Hey! You're not supposed to be here!" Fritz called. He jumped over the tombstone and attempted to charge the would-be graverobber, only to find a cold hand clutching his ankle. emitting a small yelp of surprise as he fell, he was greeted by cold, rotting undeath clawing at his face, coming up from multiple graves.
the last thing Fritz saw before he died was the rotting, maggot riddled face of his passed mother.

The thing grunted in amusement at their newly turned victim. he had raised most of the boneyard, and was hearing other small cries and yelps from the other guards. now, he had another 200 undead at his free disposal. Speed was of the essence NOW!
Turning quickly, he and his vanguard left mounted on horseback, His undead minions running full blown behind.

by dawn, the graveyard was completely and totally empty.

By morning's light the grave keeper came to his workplace. His old, yellow-stained eyes pierced the morning fog as he looked on at the deserted waste. There were the tombstones and it didn't seem like any of the Reik children had smashed any of the tombstones like last week.

However.. He noticed that every single tombstone had a massive, gaping hole in front of it. Coffins, stone cases, and alters--all were shifted and smashed so that someone could get into them. Or to get out. Upon the realization that the things within the coffins had escaped the elderly grave keeper skirted off toward the main area of Lowen.

A non-human child with locks of silver came out from behind the thickness of the woods, into the mist that now covered the wasteland of what was once the home of the dead. The cloudy whiteness obscured more than half her body, but her piercing eyes in the darkness of the atmosphere and the pearl-marked lunar symbol on her forehead were distinguishable from a close distance. Her apparent, lifeless hues fell to the dirt and gravel underneath in her stride, but there were no signs of feeling. Perhaps only emptiness.

The child walked gravely through the center of things until coming upon a random grave, looking down at the mess that it was now.

"Profanity." Her voice, as thick as the fog, surrounded the field with its hollowness. The air around her circled for a moment, dying as she turned to stride away from the wasteland.

The Moon Goddess dispised what she saw, and soon a low grumble would emerge from her clentched fangs. "Is this what the new era has to bring?" Slowly, her claw found itself flexing to the horrid thought.
