The problem with inviting people is that I don't want it run rampant with retards like the rest of Gaia, but if we casually invite one or two cool people here and there, they'll only check the guild one or two times, and if it's not active enough, they quit.
What we had to do last time was spend a day or so gathering names of people we though were bearable to talk to and invited them all at once.
So when they came into the guild there would be mass activity from all the "Hi I'm new" threads, which would get people talking to each other, which would get them coming back on to talk to people other than just us, since we can't always be on.
We also posted lots of announcements and got new sub-forums.
Basically a burst of activity for people to see when they first join, tricking them into thinking we're not lazy as hell.
and I'm really not up for another mass breeding.
(...and the GB army... lol... totally forgot about that... maybe I'll kick up some of that dust later and get a raid going. we just never really got enough people for a raid.
4chan is good for things like that.
