Every gym leaders should have their trainer card posted on the gym page so we know what we are fighting against and the pokemon's levels

See but the cards don't tell the level of each trainers poke'mon.

Yeah...that's true. So maybe in each gym forum, at the very top of it, it should state the leaders' Pokemon and their levels, respectively. That way, we can enter it, figure out if we're ready or not, and either battle or come back later.

That way, we can enter it, figure out if we're ready or not, and either battle or come back later. But, that will be cheating... How about a fee for revealing such info?

that wouldn't count as cheating i know for one that i wouldn't like walking in the gym then receiving a pm that says you were defeated in a couple of turns
