POKEMON RP CONTESTStarts: Sunday, April 22nd Ends: Tuesday, May 1st @ 11:59pm PST Rules1. In this RP Contest you will be competing to win either Raikou or Entei, NOT Suicune(already owned by Lizzymoo) 2. You may only enter one(1) entry 3. You cannot give out the Shikoku or co-own 4. Please do not edit your post once it's been posted already 5. Do NOT post in this thread if you are not entering the contest Roleplay Contest Information Background Information: There is a legend in Ecruteak city about the large burnt tower which looms over the city. Once, it was not the burnt building you can see today. It was once a glorious tower. Yet, a disaster fell over this building. A lightening storm loomed over Ecruteak city and a bolt of the electricity from the storm struck the tower. From this bolt, a fire started to consume the building, growing larger and larger. Good fortune was with the city, for the rain began to pour and soon enough doused the flames. The building still stands to this day, though it is only a shadow of its former glory. Yet of this legend was born another legend of three pokemon who are the reincarnations of the elements in the story. Born of the lightening which struck the tower was Raikou. Born of the fire which consumed the tower was Entei. And born of the rain which doused the flames was Suicune. These three pokemon were born of legends, and are just as rare and fleeting as creatures of legend. They run all throughout the Kanto region, never staying too long in one place, and never seeming to grow tired. RP Prompt: As the pokemon Raikou or Entei, give us insight to your creation. Roleplay out what memories of the Burnt tower incident would have. This can include the lightening or flames which attacked the Tower or even include the other siblings (Suicune, Raikou, and Entei) if you would like. There is no limit to length.

((Written as first person, me being Entei. Entei of course being male and regards to area around him. it's about a page on Word in size 12 font. it looks really short because it's in size 9 font ^^;; ))
I roar as I run off. I would never remember my birth and nor do I wish to think of my death. My birth was a pigment; it had no involvement of my brothers. We were born at 3 different points, exactly the same distance away from the tower where we three met. As my siblings had kept their birth a secret, I didn’t tell them how I was born. It was right before the incident where the 3 would venture to that place only to destroy it. It started as a gigantic forest fire where I lay deep within in the heart of the flames. I emerged through the fire after all the other pokemon had run away from the burning doom that was once their homes. I taught myself how to use fire to my advantage before I had a sensation to go to the area where I eventually met up with my brothers two.
As I roam the fields of wherever I am, I feel despair when I am alone. I wander on my own four feet. I return to this place I was once created. I have no creator but yet I have a name. My comrades have names but yet, we have no creator. We were created by the forces of nature as the god of all being stuck disaster on this building, taking the lives of everyone inside but giving life to us pokemon three, Suicane, Raikou and me, Entei. As a stand atop a mountain watching the remains of the tower, I see that my memories have invaded my mind. I close my brown eyes just to see the tower remade on that day.
The tower stands tall and proud in Ecruteak city. I could see the Spirit of lightning, Raikou, getting ready to strike at the exact place to destroy the tower best and for me to be born. As the water spirit, Suicane, was awaiting in the clouds until the fire would consume the building. I see myself wait to strike a spark to create the attack. As the time comes and my siblings wait in the clouds, I stand with a roar calling that the time is right. Raikou begins to charge up and as he got ready, I leaped upon the building, prepared to set it on fire at the struck of lightning.
My face winces as I drop to my forepaws covering my face. These memories etched into my mind that I want to just burn away. I roar with all my might as these memories of my creation are kept deep in the place of no forgetting. I try to open my eyes to face the truth but my will of forgetting is weak.
Continuing on my memory journey, I see Raikou Roar but I cannot hear him. I jump away as it strikes. I blow fire from my mouth as the building sets upon fire. I hear the crying yells of civilians inside of the building. I fly off to the clouds as Suicane prepares of gentle shower, just enough to kill the fire I have just created. He starts to glow as his white streamer-like body parts move about. A light shower shines over as there is help from the local water pokemon. They cannot put my fire out. Suicane uses his rain to settle it, leaving a pile of black ash. The civilians watch in awe as the tower had burned, leaving hundreds dead and thousands injured to the point of no return. The three of us leave as the tower that once was, has left the face of the earth.

[I'm trying for Entei. ^__^ And I'm using first-person. ]
Running. Always running. Is it out of fear? No. Your fear will always catch hold of you anyway no matter how fast you run. It will bind you in chains and slowly sap you of your life until there's nothing left of you but an empty husk. I must keep running for I am restless. Often I loose sight of why exactly I run. For the greater good of humanity perhaps? Or is it my own selfish desire to explore the world of humans? I do not know. I'd like to think it's the former option rather then the latter. Power courses through my body every moment of every day. Oh yes, that is the real reason I must keep moving. I shun to think what would happen if I sat still for too long. It doesn't bother me. I get to travel abroad and watch the world of the humans who call pokemon their companions. I can't say I envy these pokemon with humans for trainers. Freedom is more suited for one such as myself. Often I ponder what fate has called upon me for. Entei is my calling. Who decided it would be that? How memories seem to elude my grasp. It is as if they toy with me! I will recall whom bestowed the name upon me eventually. Entei, the lord of flame. The fire that can spurt from his mouth is hotter then any magma and when he barks volcanoes erupts in far off lands. Humans are such silly creatures. They always feel the need to fantasize about what they know nothing about. Although, their stories were all very true. Most humans are very greedy things. This is why I feel the need to remain hidden but it is becoming more and more difficult.
Often my dreams haunt me. With each night comes flashes of the past, vivid as the day the events occurred. I am sometimes grateful for them because without their presence I would surely forget. My most frequent dream is of the day I was created 150 years ago. It is neither a nightmare nor a bliss when I watch the events that played out. Although somewhere within my essence, I feel the deep sorrow of my creator. Such sorrow it is. It is the type of sadness one experiences when you have lost something very important to you. Before I go on, my dreams also depict the events that led up to my creation, which is what I will explain. The night sky was black as ebony that had been polished by many human hands. Clusters of white spots could be seen, they being stars of course, and they were completely unmarred by the few city lights that shone from below. It was deep into the night, the exact hour unknown to me. Most of the town of Ecruteak had long since gone to bed but there were a few stragglers, of course. In the distance, the grumble of thunder was fast approaching and the wind blew. The wind clashed against the earth in displeasure, pushing the storm clouds that loomed to the east. Soon the jagged forks of lightening illuminated the town below followed in quick succession by snarls of thunder. It was as if a great beast had blotted out the night sky in a matter of what couldn't have been more then ten minutes. It was truly a fretful sight to see Mother Nature like that.
No one would've thought what had happened would happen. While most of the humans were probably hoping for better weather tomorrow, a great boom ricocheted through the town. It was not the sound of thunder. A great serpent of lightening had reached down from the heavens and struck the Brass Tower as fast as a cobra making to bite its prey. The rain was not yet falling but the clouds were looking quite heavy. The tower had been wrought with horrible damage. A gaping hole had appeared in the roof like a mouth full of snaggle teeth grinned up at the sky as if to say, "that all you got?" The few citizens close enough to the tower to hear the commotion came outside in both fright and wonder. From inside the hole on the roof came great clouds of smoke. The wind toyed with the grey gas, letting it rise into the sky to join the clouds. Still the rain would not come. Soon even the humans could see the inferno that had slowly began to eat away the building from the inside out. It spread swiftly in the strong wind. Alas, soon the sister tower, The Tin Tower, was also being consumed by fire. The flames discovered the hole in the roof and thrust themselves out in attempt to find more wood to burn. The once dark sky was now illuminated with shades of orange, red, and yellow. A screech of the greatest magitude could be heard above the roar of the fire as it wreaked havoc on the building. It echoed much of the same grief as what fills my soul. From the flames of the Tin Tower rose the great phoenix Ho-Oh and from the sister tower rose Lugia. Both gazed towards the burning tower for a moment before fleeing into the night.
The humans could do nothing to put a halt to the blaze. They merely watched in horror as their sacred towers burned and burned and burned. At last the rain came. It were as if the sky itself was weeping. It wept through the night until even the lowliest ember still in the Towers had been extinguished. It is said that the two towers were supposed to embellish hope and friendship between people and pokemon. It is also said that the two birds of legend, Lugia and Ho-Oh, made their home there. In the early hours of the same morning when darkness still coated the land and a fine drizzle caressed Ecruteak City, Ho-Oh returned to the remains of the building. She did so in secrecy although no humans were really around to witness her return. Finding a perch in the bowels of the gutted Tin Tower she raised her angry head to the heavens and flared her beautiful wings. She had a golden glow to it that illuminated the darkness around her. "Elements, you have taken my roost from me!" The she-phoenix squawked angrily. "I will not stand for it!" The thunder had been diminished to what could be compared to a kitten's purr and the lightening was hardly more then a flash now and then. Despite the rain, smoke still funneled off the charred wood of the building. "Lightening, he who caused all of this!" With this, Ho-Oh gave a flap of her wings and called forth a lightening bolt. It struck the ground below her and from a great flash was born Raikou, lord of thunder.
"Fire, who has run amok and caused so much destruction," With this the smoke from the rafters of the tower began to funnel down towards where Raikou sat. Slowly it began to piece together a beast much like the lightening creature that stood where the lightening had struck. From the ashes and smoke was born I, Entei, lord of the flame. My story has yet to be concluded, however. Her glow slightly diminished, Ho-Oh spoke once more. "And both the rain, who has come too late to save my tower, and the wind who has fed the flames!" From the rain powdering the earth came a strange blue glow as the liquid began to form into something standing close to me. Thus, the Water Monarch Suicune was born from the heaven's tears and the North Wind. "All of you who have taken what's mine and yet I have given you life. I have shown you a great kindness despite what you have done! Now you must guard what remains of this tower 'lest you turn to ash. " With a final cry, she rose into the night leaving myself and my brothers to guard the ruins. We would let no one desecrate the towers. It turns out they were never rebuilt. Neither I nor my siblings could remember anything from out past lives. All we felt was a sense of gratitude towards the phoenix pokemon who gave us life. We also felt ashamed for what we'd supposedly done. We would guard the tower with our lives. However, rumors of our presence escalated, as it was bound to.
We could not keep all the humans from the ruins. Some have glimpsed us and some wanted our power. The threat of being captured forced us to flee from the very thing we were protecting. Mobs had begun to storm the tower and even with our immense power, we could not take them and their many pokemon on at the same time. I have not once seen Ho-Oh since that fateful night 150 years ago. I believe these dreams are sent to me so I will not forget about what I was made to do. I do believe Ho-Oh's grudge has lessened over the years, if she is still even alive. Occasionally I will make certain the tower is alright but I can not stay for long. In a way I am glad we were chased from our post. Being cooped up all day did not bode well with my temper. As I think this guilt sets upon my mind like poison. It has been some time since I have thoroughly pondered the events in my dreams. As I now gaze down at what remains of the tower I find myself wishing both Ho-Oh and Lugia have found peace somewhere else. I'm concealed from human view by a dense forest. Humanity has undergone drastic changes in the 150 years I've been on this earth. In the blink of an eye I am running again. The grass gives way under my mighty paws and the wind ruffles my fur. I suddenly feel as if I have a greater purpose. It is time to find that very purpose.

( I am postin for Raikou, first person, thank you for the chance.)
It was me, I know it was me, but I didn't mean it. I never knew that I had such power. Now I can't stop running. My sibblings don't know it was me, well at least I dont think they do. God I hope they don't. My paws give off sparks when I think of it that only spread like spider webbs over the morning dew, the gift of my siblings. A gift... where I can bring nothing but fear and destruction as I dd that fatefull night.
I remember it all so clearly... I was angry and Hurt that whatever or who ever didn't stay around to help me, to take care of me. I was angry that I never knew a parent. That I never got cared for as most others in fact do. No loving parent to tell me that I was loved. I never knew why I existed, why I had been brought about and why I was the only one of my kind. Why was I doomed to be alone all my life? It was just too much pain for one to take. I cried out, I screamed to the sky and that was when the lightning struck, that was when the fire rushed from where the white hot bolt had struck. Perhaps that's when I got my power, maybe I always had it? Ether way that was when I learned to bend it to my will. The fire was my fault, it was all my fault. I will never go back there, never, I don't want to have to see the shell that my siblings and I once lived in. I will never forget it when it was still the Tin Tower.
Lovely, devine was the only real word for it, no, there isn't a word that is beautiful enough for that place, well, for what it used to be anyhow. It wasn't what humans called Tin, it was more of a silver, the pillars that held the center of the tower were a strange stone, black with what looked to be white lightning accrost it. Humans called it Marble, but I find the coloring Ironic. Lightning held it up, and lightning brought it down. Stone floors on all but the bottem floor that had a blue hint, for my sibbling, it looked as pure and lovely as ice did, well, I hadn't seen much Ice, but I saw pictures of it from when the humans would stay in the tower to look after the great bird. The walls were red, yellow and all other shades found in flames, flames for my red sibbling. It was a place of the Elements. It was our place, but I ended that. I brought Eden falling around our paws.
What are we, do we even honestly have a destiny? Can we change it? Are we good or evil? Questions, nothing but questions raced though my mind. So you ask me why I run... well I can tell you why.
I run for hope, I run because I know the answer is out there. I run to find out why we live, if we can change why we were born and to be able to come back and face my Sibblings. Hopefully we can rebuild the tower one day...
One day when my sore legs let me stop running. Then I can rest with my sibblings and we can all be forgiven, but untill then... I will keep running.

((this is my entry for Entei in the first-person))
I remember it clearly, that night. It was a fateful night for us three. Raikou was the first to break through and become with his mighty thunderbolts. Yes, yes... he electrocuted the tower. If it were not for my brother, I could not stand here today making boundless leaps across the fields. We were freed thanks to the bravery and boldness of Raikou. I could feel his power, his element reigning over the tower and that's when I knew it was my turn. As soon as I stepped foot onto the tower, it burst into flame. Of course, I did not know what fire was, nor heat, nor pain, nor destruction. It was all so new to me that I could only roar in excitement and happiness. I was free from the chains of who knows what. Even I am not sure what I was bound to, but I was a prisoner. Yes, I was a prisoner until that night. I was alone with my two brothers in an existence. We had no one to be loved by or to love. We wished to escape this lowly, meaningless existence and the tower was our gateway.
The tower burned and the wreckage was overcome by a field of flames, my flames. Such power I had not experienced, but I knew something great was happening. At such an instant, Suicune, my brother in water, broke through and used his power to heal such a disaster that Raikou and myself had caused. It was wonderful to feel such a cool sensation. I wanted to feel it all but it all ended quickly.
"Entei and Raikou," said Suicune, "we MUST run." Suicune was the wisest of us three and knew much of what we could not even dare imagine, so it must have been something terrible we had done to deserve such an order.
We all looked at each other in surprise. "Why do you say this?!" thundered Raikou. "We have only just arrived and now we must flee? NO! This is what we deserve, freedom!" Suicune shook his head. "Do you not see? We are not the only ones here! We have invaded a land that is not ours and now we shall be doomed for causing such destruction!"
"If we are to run, my brother," I bellowed, "where must we be sent?! We shall be exiles of our freedom?" All three of us looked at each other and knew that we had done much wrong in our moment of triumph.
"Yes," Suicune said quietly. "It seems so. We must run, and we are never to meet in the eyes of these beings!"
"They shall hunt us," I said, "but I will never allow myself to be caught by these things that wish to take our freedom!"
"Let us make it a game," added Raikou slyly. "They will hunt us, but who says that we cannot play with them? Serves them right if they wish to catch us!"
We looked at each other and gave silent goodbyes and sped off in different directions. I knew that if I was to see them, it would only be in a vast amount of time. Suicune, my brother of water, and Raikou, my brother of thunder. I have not seen either of them since that night.
But I keep running. I run in honor of the thunder that gave me freedom and in honor of the water that healed me. And I run to find what it means to love and to be loved. But most of all, I run to feel the wind whipping across my face.

(( Entering for Raikou. :B ))
Lightning thrashed across the sky in a crackling roar, bringing large flashes of light to the ominous skies half-blinding those who stood beneath the mighty storm, as they watched within secure shelters that protected them from the deadly squall and it‘s harmful weather conditions. It had been a mere couple of minutes before one strong bolt of lightning plummeted down from the heavens and struck the large structure that those of the land called the brass tower, setting a blaze to the glorious tower. The bolt, causing a loud sonic boom, that shook the great city in the storms anger and brought down rubble upon the innocent and their homes. Severe gale storm winds, fed the flames and nourished its growth upon the building, spreading the flames to the point that nothing could be done to save the tower by human hands. All the humans could do now was help the injured and helplessly stand by and watch as one of two of their town’s greatest structures, a symbol of peace and unity between pokemon and humans, was consumed by flames. Blessed was Ecruteak city, however, for on the third day of the destruction of the brass tower, the god sent down poor of rain came and doused the flames and anymore flames that the lightning wished to start, keeping the storms rage at bay, just as the tin tower had began to take damage. Though the rains came, they were too late to save the brass tower from flames and only a scanty frame of the tower remained unable to take repairs to return to its former glory and though the tin tower had only just begun to share the damage, the roof was eaten away, leaving a gaping hole where the weather could soil the structure internally.
These were just a haze of memories now, for the great yellow beast, a painful reminder of what they had done in their past life as there former elemental half. A bit of deserved torment, one might say, as punishment for their crime. After all, he was the reincarnation of the lightning that struck the tower out of rage.
Typical though, that out of his two siblings and himself, that he would be the one reincarnated after the element that had the first strike on the building. He reflected while curling up within the tall blades of grass that concealed him from those who might be near by, the gentle winds brushing through his soft pelt in a friendly caress. Feeling at piece he closed his eyes, seeking rest, only to experience another fleeting memory, that rushed back into his head of that very day. It revealed two mighty birds rising to the air from their roosts, flecks of ember whirling about in the wind around them and through the city in a mesmerizing dance. The one bird, a mighty phoenix, was screeching in a deadly rage at the destruction of her tower, before she fled from her building. The other, a large whale like bird, dissolved into the depths of the fire lit night while a mournful cry echoed across the land in his wake.
A shudder erupted over his body, recalling the rage of the one bird. His element--what he was now, had been the sole cause that had taken the roosts of two mighty beings.. If it weren’t for the lightning that struck the tower, the flames would never have ate away at the building and the winds would not have fed the flames hunger and would not have destroyed the roosts of the two mighty creatures.
He sneered as the bitter memories continued to flow into his mind, making him relive the day further. This time the memory was more elusive then before. There were three innocent silhouetted bystanders surrounded by intense flames, unable to emerge from the horrid scene to reach safety. With no way of escape, the three perished within the great blaze. This tragedy was one hundred and fifty years ago and yet it felt as though it was just yesterday. It was his siblings and his former selves, before their second life, before they looked as they did today. In that same memory, he saw the vague image of the furious phoenix from his last image, discovering the three, and returning life to their motionless bodies. Though, now each emerged from the rubble portrayed as one of the elements that took part in the incident.
Why they were recreated in the elements that played a role in the destruction of the brass tower was a mystery to the hulking beast, something he could never figure out for himself. Opening his eyes after the several episodes of memories, he attempted to think of what the phoenix must have felt towards the three of them and had actually come to several conclusions of why she might have given them a second life. Whatever the reason, he was grateful, but he wished to know why.
The phoenix, Ho-oh as he recalled her name to be, could have really cared for or felt great sorrow towards them upon finding their charred bodies, or maybe it was just something she felt as a responsibility. He assumed thoughtfully , before gazing over his body and shaking his head lightly in disagreement with the thoughts. Being the element with the leading role in that event, he still could not help but responsibility for what had happened and it was this guilt that made him also consider the possibility that perhaps, the only reason for their recreation was a mere plot of revenge against the elements, making them guard the tower that they were responsible for destroying? Or maybe! It was a penance against herself. By looking upon them, she could see the three elements that she could not stop to rescue the two towers? These were just possibilities and nevertheless, the fact still stood, that they were given a second life. No matter the reason, he was in debt to the phoenix and would gladly carry out any order that he was given by her, even if she loathed him. He had also often wondered what his siblings felt about this particular subject. Perhaps they felt a bit of resentment towards him as well, for being the reincarnation of lightning, but for as much as he knew; they had stood by him, regardless of his elements past actions.
Stretching out below the shady oak tree that he had taken refuge under, he rolled on to back, exposing his belly to the suns rays that streamed through the branches and leaves that weaved together to create the shade that he rested within. The day was warm, so he figured he‘d take advantage of it for the time being. The background sound of the rushing water over the waterfalls lulling the beast to rest, a loud purr that sounded as though thunder was prowling within the clouds, rumbled in his throat.
He had reminisced, earlier, that after their recreation, Ho-oh disappeared from the city and was not seen to this day and that only he and his two siblings had remained and chose to remain hidden, deep down within the pit of the burnt tower beneath the base level floor. There they guarded its sad remains until they had a brief encounter with a human.
As he recalled, the three, out of confusion, immediately awoke from their slumber and permitted a brief moment of shock and fear to freeze them on the spot. Though, before the human could make a move each bellowed their cry and darted up and out of their sanctuary and out into the vast lands of Johto. Raikou who embodied speeds that could rival that of a bolt of lightning was gone in a loud crack of thunder and bright flash of light. His two siblings, Entei and Suicune, left in opposite directions away from him, from that day he could not recall ever encountering them again. No matter, Raikou, who was flustered at the sudden appearance of the human child, wasn’t even thinking of them at that moment anyways. He remembered that he only wanted to get far, far away from the presence of the humans, somewhere secure and so he dashed far away across the land, a great distance away from the burnt tower.
During this time of his freedom and darting through the lands, he had encountered many trainers which resulted in him dashing in and out of battles, but fled before they could even draw their pokeballs in an attempt to capture the rare beast who taunted them with his glorious image. In the end, he learned to keep a good distance from the humans and so he remained hidden, fleeing to an empty land whenever he sensed humans near by and remained concealed from human sight and so until this day, he still wandered the vast lands, up to where he was now, relaxing in his new found freedom.
At times, he caught the sweet scent of Suicune on the northern winds that came and brushed over him in a gentle caress or heard the brief sound of Entei’s rumbling roar, that caused the ground to quake beneath his feet, but both trailed off in the distance as if they were a ghost of the past. He longed to call out to them, but for now, he would remain in solitary, keeping a solemn eye upon the land, watching and waiting for the day that they were reborn for. How his two siblings lived their life now was not of his concern any longer, nor was it their concern on how he lived. It was time he thought what to for himself and by himself, time for them to travel their own separate paths and perhaps, if he kept an eye on things like Ho-oh had intended for them to do, despite his situation, he could reduce the amount of remorse that he felt and maybe make her proud of him.

((Entering as Raikou, second person..))
"Tag, you're it."
It was a quietly whispered word before the yellow beast turned and lept from the safety of un-existance, as they were registered as before one innocent game of tag during the storms the three brothers seemed to bring. It was always the eldest whom started their games of tag, running ahead of the middle brother who followed shortly afterwards. To most, that's all there was, the eldest and middle brother.
It had only been that he was competitive, and when there were only two to play, the youngest was woken by his elder brother, whom tagged him with one paw, before turning to leap away from him.
That was what started everything.
Raikou crashed into the side of SOMETHING, as it was registered in his head, using whatever it was to push off and head in another direction as his younger brother, whom had been woken from napping, came tumbling after the roaring bolt of energy, also crashing into the same point as the middle brother had, right on his heels.
"Hey! STOP!"
Raikou peered back at his brother, his head tilting to one side in a lightly curious manner as the younger called to him, both pausing in their game to admire their handiwork, or, moreso, Entei's handiwork.
"Think we should do something about that?" "Nah. Suicune can clean it up for us.."
He grinned slyly, before turning to start running headlong away from his younger brother, leaping quickly into a tree, breaking one of the branches with the supported weight between himself and his brother, the tree also setting aflame. Raikou only remained there for a moment before he lept out, nearly crashing into the pair's elder brother.
Instead, he hit the ground with one side trying to avoid him.. while Entei smashed into Suicune instead.
"Owwwwww.." "Owwwiie..." the pair groaned. Raikou was up on his feet in a moment, before he was bounding about the other two in a happy circle, grinning. "Suicune's it!" he announced, doing a singular turn, before turning to run off again, Entei on his tail, to flee from being caught by Suicune.
And the three were off running, Raikou in the lead, and Entei behind him, the pair splitting off from each other, as Suicune made his way to the top of the burning building.
".. I can't see through this.." he said blandly, frowning a bit, before looking back up to the cloud the three had come from, leaping back up into it to run along it after whichever of his brothers he saw first, the beating of his paws on the clouds causing them to start pouring, even after the large blue beast lept from the sky to hit the ground again, running whichever way he believed his brothers went.
Three brothers, not of destruction, but of innocent fun.
--
'Hey.... what are these?'
It was a voice, one spoken with loudly enough to wake the three resting brothers, curled up in the same building that had served as their original place of play. Their bodies seemed to crack as they moved after such a long time of resting.
In fact, none even seemed to address the one whom had woken them before Raikou reached out with a paw and tagged his blue brother.
"Tag. You're it."

Fire, Thunder, Rain....separated from each other... one north...other south...suddenly...a building...and then all three of the elements colapse and form a single one....thunder creating fire and rain, trying to get rid of fire.....sudenly a BOOM!
Entei sudenly woke up jumping from the floor scared of his own dream, he looked around trying to find something...or someone, he sighed and mummbled –Not that dream again- he watched his reflection on the water surface as the images of that last scene circled in his mind –I wonder why is that building always in my dreams...and why those elements get together...as one?- he wondered about this and for an instant he thought seeing something in the water but realized he was being paranoid. That dream became more and more vivid as days passed and every time Entei woke from it he felt a really weird sensation which grew stronger with the dreams.
One night the dream became even more vivid, while he was dreaming in the forest near a village, the dream as always woke him up...but this time in front of him...was the tower....it wasnt exactly as in the dream but Entei could perceive it was the same one. Fire, Thunder, Rain.....the sky was dark and full of clouds...it was night...but the surrounding had a mysterious feeling around it...as if something was about to happen…something important...impossible to avoid...something carved in destiny.
-Thunder, Rain ....... but wait...something is wrong...something is missing... of course its Fire...but then.....it cannot be the dream....one is missing...and they are not together- Entei watched the tower carefully and was surprised at what he found on the top, three pilars..and two of them were already taken...by two other pokemon very much like him, a blue one and a yellow one, he sudenly felt the urge to climb to the top of the tower and reunite with those other pokemon, he felt that, if he did ...something amazing would happen.
--------------------------- I actually made this as a shorts story x.x I'll add the final I had for the "story" just for everyone to read ^^ --------
As the time aproached and Entei arrived to his place in the pillar something magical happened, a blue light sorrounded all the building and the three pokemon turned and looked at each other, Entei finaly knew why he was there, and why he knew the other two, he realized he had a purpose there, to control fire over rain or thunder, just as the others had to control their own.
-Finally...we are together again- Suicune said after a long silence -Together as before- Raikou added -Together forever...as it has always meant to be- Entei nodded while saying this and after the blue light disapeared so did the pokemon. Legend tells that they might be together...or maybe not.... but they always care for each other to mantain equilibrium on earth.

((I’m aiming for Raikou and I shall be writing in first-person.))
It was almost this time of year, one hundred and fifty years ago, when my siblings and I were created from the very essence of the elements present on a night when Mother Nature was feeling wrathful. I remember it vividly as the events of that night lie deep within my memory and haunt my dreams. The day had been warm and pleasant, but as the sun fell behind the horizon, the forces of nature began to churn and become unsettled. A cold wind riled up the once sedate clouds to a tall, dark front of storm. The air became charged over Ecruteak City. The electricity in the air became focused over the tower. The lightning cracked like a whip and shed down to the mighty tower. I could feel myself beginning to sizzle with what I now understand is existence. I raced through the building. When I stopped, I turned to look where I had been.
And then there was one…
Behind me, there were red golden flames, leaping at the walls and licking violently into the air. In the embers, I saw a flicker of movement. What was it? Out of the fire emerged my brother, Entei. How I knew his name, I do not know. Maybe it was instinct. Or maybe it was an unspoken bond. I somehow felt that nature wasn’t quite done with this building or that I wasn’t meant to leave just yet.
And then there were two…
That was went the rain began to fall. The entire building had essentially been engulfed in flames and Mother Nature had calmed herself and set to soothing the burn of her anger. The flames dimmed then died. Their crackling was quelled by the calming rain. Dark smoke curled towards the sky, signaling the fires end. The building was a burnt out husk of what it was, so much so that the rain could almost be heard echoing through the bone bare supports. There was motion in the rain. A subtle hint of existence. Out of the falling rain, stepped my final sibling, Suicune. When the three of us had met, our fate became apparent. A voice spoke to us gathered.
And then there were three…
“Because of you my home has been destroyed. You are now charged with keeping watch over this tower. So say I.” The voice seemed to echo into the wind and a delicate rainbow feather drifted down to the sodden, steaming earth at our paws. That was then. Today my siblings and I have ranges far and ranged. In spite of our distance, our three areas of influence intersect in once place. That place is the tower in which this all began. Where we began. Where I began…

((Trying for Entei.))
Humans are very different than us. Yet, they can be similar in many ways.
For instance, many humans complain that being the middle sibling is the worst. Being a middle sibling myself, I wholly concur with that.
But many, if not all, humans do not remember anything from the time they were born. They cannot even remember the first years they inhibited the world. I however, can remember the night very clearly. I’m sure other humans that witnessed our birth can remember that night as well, if you asked them.
The first and eldest sibling, Raikou, struck down on the tower with the wrath of lightning. He made sure that the booming of his thunder woke the humans that were sleeping throughout the town, so they can say that he was the largest bolt in history. Intentional or not however, the thunderstruck tower began to sprout fire. And from the raging flames, I began.
I was proceeding to burn the old creaky wood to ashes, as was the nature of fire. Raikou could do nothing with his lightning, and I would’ve consumed the entire building if not Suicune had came.
From the very cloud Raikou had dashed as lightning from, gentle raindrops pour from its maw. I can feel the droplets now, their wet touch freezing me to the core. I had to step back, and let the youngest brother put out my fire and reduce what was once a raging inferno to the damp steaming ruins of the once mighty tower.
I was humiliated, that my younger brother can defeat me with little effort. All he had to do was to summon rain and I would cower under him like a newborn Pokemon. My other brother Raikou, who could not stop my flames, was wise enough not to embarrass me further. He was the one that attacked the tower, setting the events forth that would create Suicune and me. For that, both of us respect him, and he respected us back.
I was still burdened with the knowledge that Suicune could defeat me however. I had once thought that my legs could carry me faster than my brother, being older and more muscular. When I had told him that, he simply laughed and said that such a thing was not possible. Along with the power of rain, Suicune also possessed the power of the North wind. Knowing that fire couldn’t even beat the speed of the North wind, I resigned myself as being the weakest of the three.
But even the puniest of Legendaries can overcome challenges. Though I never did prove myself better than Suicune, I knew in my guts that I was still better than any other ordinary Pokemon.
I race across fields everyday to prove myself.
((Bah. I suck at endings. x.x))

On one chaotic night, three legendary creatures were born. One of flames, one of lightning, and one of rain. Together, they represented the elements that ruined the tower of Ecruteak, which was once a beautiful tower, an architectural miracle. Few witnessed the fateful moment of the creatures’ creation, but I know it well. I am Entei, one of those who were born on that day, born by the flames that burned the tower.
A young girl walked by herself on a lonely road leading to Ecruteak. Though it was stormy and not the best time to be traveling on the slippery road, Kiana had no choice. She needed to get to Ecruteak before it was too late to enter the battling competition held there. She brushed her long, brown hair back as she walked briskly, an umbrella in her hand and her pokeballs in a bag slung over her shoulder. Suddenly, Kiana noticed something shiny on the ground in front of her. Curious, she bent down to get a closer look and realized it was a stone in the shape of a flame.
“A badge?…” Kiana wondered aloud as she picked it up. It was smooth, but it didn’t quite look like any of the badges she’d seen before. But, remembering that she still had a long way to go, she decided to examine it later. I could always get Dad to look at it. He knows all about badges, she though. With a shrug, she slipped it into her pocket and continued down the road. After what seemed to be many hours, Kiana reached the outskirts of the Kanto region. Relieved and tired, Kiana began to walk slower, reassured by the sign that read, “Welcome to the Kanto region.” She could barely see any sign of life and meters of grass and trees lay before her. It would be a while before she reached Ecruteak, but, at least, she knew she was close. She could even see the old tower in the distance, the one that had been caught on fire many years ago. Suddenly, Kiana heard a deep voice that seemed to resonate all around her. Young one, you have what is mine. Perhaps, you have found it, but without the permission of its owner, it is not rightfully yours. It is best you give it back.
Kiana looked around, trying to spot the one who had spoken to her. But, she saw no one nearby.
“Who are you? Where are you?” She said hesitantly, “Is it the stone you want?” Kiana’s eyes darted back and forth, wondering whether the speaker meant harm to her. But, somehow, she felt the voice was gentle, though it seemed to have an undertone of threat.
I am everywhere, young one. I am Entei. And yes, it is the stone I seek. The one and only flame stone.
Kiana couldn’t help gasping. It couldn’t be. The legendary pokemon, Entei, was just legend. He wasn’t real, was he?
”Flame stone? What do you mean?” Kiana managed to say.
It is the stone that was made along with me on the day of my creation. The day of the storm that burned the tower of Ecruteak. Suck a great tower it once was. I was born that day, born out of the flames that swallowed up the tower. Just as it destroyed the tower, it brought to life three creatures. My brothers and I. And three stones. As the protector of the stone, I cannot allow you to have it.
It was just like the story her mother had told her when she was only seven. She had listened, wide-eyed, as her mother spoke of Suicune, Raikou, and Entei, and for days, she had gone out to search for the three pokemons. But, afterwards, her brother had teased her for believing it.
“It’s only a story. It’s not real.” Her brother had said and Kiana had agreed with him, not wanting her brother to tease her more. But, deep within her, she had always had a feeling they were real…and they were. If only Luke could be here, Kiana thought to herself.
“So it’s true? The whole legend?” Kiana asked. She decided she would give back the stone, but not without a little bit of information about Entei.
No, not completely. The story you have heard, most likely, is merely a human’s guess at what had happened. Only three witnessed the scene.
“So, tell me. I’ll give you back the stone after you tell me the real story.” Kiana said, recovering from her momentary shock. She heard a sigh that echoed across the meadow.
Very well. I have made an oath not to harm humans and I do not wish to break it. I shall tell you the story, the real story, of my birth. It was a stormy night and perhaps by luck, lightning struck the tall tower, igniting a fire on top of the tower. It quickly engulfed the tower, burning it beyond repair. But, the lightning did more than that. It created Raikou and from the flames, I was created. The last to be brought into this world is Suicune, born from the rain that doused the fire. Why we are made I don’t know. Perhaps it is to protect these stones.
“But, why do you run? Why is it that you go from place to place?” Kiana asked. The things she had wondered about since she’d first heard the tale, which had been thrown into a little corner of her mind since the beginning of her pokemon journey, came back to her. There was so much she wanted to know about them.
You ask many questions. We are creatures of great power. You humans make it a hobby to capture creatures for battle. But we do not want to be subjected to the same fate. Some may not mind it, but like the elements we were born of, we need freedom. Fire itself is not for one to have but all. It is the same with water and lightning. No one person can own such things.
It was not the answer Kiana had expected. She had long thought it was because they were created to do a duty and that, maybe, they are responsible for fire, water, and lightning. After hearing his reply, Kiana felt a pang of guilt. Could her pokemons want freedom, too?
I have done my part of the deal. Please, hand over the stone. It is not for you to keep. Put it on the ground in front of you. That is all you need to do.
Carefully, Kiana set down the stone. Suddenly, the grass in front of her burst into flames, and from the flames walked Entei. Kiana’s eyes widened. This was what she had always wanted, to catch sight of one of the legendary creatures. She stood there, immobilized by her awe. Entei walked calmly to the stone and with a flash, the stone was gone. Then, he, too, disappeared, leaving Kiana to stare at the spot he had been.
She knew no one would believe her. Luke would make fun of her as her parents stared at her in worry. No, she would keep this a secret from everyone. Only she needed to know. Whether others believed her didn’t matter because Kiana knew it was no dream. She had met Entei and spoken with one of the greatest and most powerful creatures alive.
Unknowst to her, Entei watched her from a distance.
Young one, good luck in your journeys. I am sure you will do fine. Your heart is strong and so is your will.

(( Roleplaying as Raikou <3 Woooow an hour before deadline WOOT! XD Sorry for the weird indentation all was done on my phone >.> ))
Leaping through the air, watching all that has come before me. All of special and reknowned birth. My roar, a crack of thunder, resonating its reverberance throughout the rainy skies of Suicune, my brother. My might extending itself to the forefront of the supposed Mother Earth. Changing from my own strength into the strong flames of another being which engulf, that of Entei. To only be doused by the calming pitter of droplets of rain.
My birth was a pinnacle wrinkle in my existence. A conceiving of opportunity. In the region that has become known as Ecruteak there stood a tower. It now stands burnt, the bits of the myth told by the whispers of the inhabitants of the city. It stands in ruins now; a shard of memory of the creation of our vessels. Masters of Elements who were reincarnated on that day. To lead a life of solitude, and yet, content.
Our essence, our soul, wandered the earth and skies, searching for a place to gain separation from one another. An inbalanced entity. One with too much power it held within itself, each piece yearning for eons for separation from the other. One of our wanderings brought us upon the glorious tower of the Ecruteak City, it beckoned to our soul. And we came.
My heart cracked with thunder of myself at the opportunity presenting itself. My excitement so great it couldn't be contained, it burst forth in a crack of lightning. My piece, the shard of my spirit, released itself with that bolt. My power touched the building and felt the breath of life it held. Entei, spirit of fire, arose from my strength in the same manner. His hot flames licking at the building, gaining his freedom. The heat causing Suicune of the water to separate itself away into the heavens. Only to rain upon the Earth, over the building. Gaining his own liberty. Shards glowed from within the center circle of the tower. Life came before the newly balanced entities. The markings and designs glowing in curlicues. And the miracle of life began.
The last whisps of fire, swirling with smoke, forming Entei's body, to encase the firey spirit. And his mane slowly flowing forth. As his elaborate form took its figure. The crackles and zaps of my thunder, glowing and zigzagging as a glowing form began to take its shape. My mane spilling out as a crooked tail began to poke out. The droplets carefully plipping onto the marble surface. Drips that fell and shimmered as another being was brought forth. The streamers cascading out of Suicune as his majestic purple mane flowed into existence as his crest formed on his front.
We all opened our eyes at the same moment in time. Gazing at eachother in awe, we were separate beings. Of one but now individual essences.
We heard clamor and shouts from outside.. Mortals had seen the calamity and were drawn. We all nodded our heads and turns to face the opposite directions. Entei barked loydly and raced away in a sprint, volcanoes erupting fiercely as he went. Suicune traveled with the north wind, moving so quickly its speed rendered him invisible as a trail of mist followed in his wake. And I stormed away as well, releasing a vicious roar that created intense vibrations as the cloud on my back shot off electric energy as we took our separate ways..
And so much like before, we wander. In a seemingly aimless way but we know our purpose. We pertain to the elements of our birthing respectively. As volcanoes erupt, lightning strikes and rain falls, our life continues and spins. The wheels of the world spin, endlessly...

WINNERS Judged by Lizzymoo
Entei .Shadow - Dragon.
I appreciate the incorporation of Ho-Oh into the story. I was hooked early on and gradually felt myself taken under as I continued to read the story.
Raikou Hiroshi
What pulled me into this entry was how Raikou seemed to be the most daring of the siblings. It seemed like Raikou was full of energy which he merely wanted to release. I also enjoyed how the siblings were spoken about in a before and after sense, before being part of the elements themselves, and after being "free of" the elements they were once chained to.
Congrats to both of you and a grateful thanks to everyone who entered this contest!
