Question:
Where can you buy these books?
-Feels like a major loser for asking.-

Judika Illes "The Element Encyclopedia of Witch Craft" which seems helpful for ingredients.
Gerina Danwich "The Wicca Spellbook"
Gavin and Yvonne Frost "the Magic Power of White Whitchcraft"
Silver Ravenwolf "BOS for the solitary witch"
These are just the ones I tend to use my collection seems to be ever growing often friends will give me new books as gifts including those on tarot cards and witches almanacs which are very helpful in deciding which spells are best to cast as they list the moon cycles and other improtant information.

Your Book of Shadows by Patrica Telesco and Rites of Odin by Ed Fitch. Basic guidelines even for someone who's been in the craft as long as I have. xd I have other books in the general area, like one about Faeries, but I rarely use it because of a past experience with it.
Admiral is correct, though people give you odd looks in the bookstore. 'Specially since the 'New Age' section is near the Christianity books. razz

Who is the author of your faerie book?

i have (or had) a book call Cassell's Dictionary of Witchcraft it was written by David Pickering and is just that a dictionary, it covers some of the surface things and more along the historical aspect of it, but its still pretty cool/scary to see what was what during the old witchcraft scare periods that most Anglo-Saxon countries went through. but i either lost or or my parrents did away with it, i hope i just lost it in my room though

I usually get my books from Walden's or Borders...got one from the library once, but the only problem there is that it didn't get read, and it actually got turned in late. sad It was a busy week that week.
I've got Bucky's big blue book, Silver's To Ride a Silver Broomstick, and Cunningham's ...oh, dang, can't remember the name of it now, but it's the one that explains Wicca/Folk magick to those who don't practice magick, and my first book on the subject: McCain's So You Want to be a Witch? or something like that.
All very good. I'm working through silver atm.

I read Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard, Companion for the Apprentice Wizard (both by Oberon Zell-Ravenheart), Earth Power by Scott Cunningham, The Book of 5000 spells, The 21 lessons of Merlyn and Druid magick. All of these books can be obtained in the New Age section at Barnes and Noble.
