This little rhyme of eight words, deal such powerful truths.
"And You Harm none, Do What You Will."
This means, that during anything that you do, rituals, going out, driving etc. If You will not hurt anyone, even yourself, you can do it, with out Karmic Backlashes of Bad energy.
Abiding by this is a good thing to abide by, for if you do, you'll have Good Luck. But there are times when you must protect yourself and others around you. This incurs the debate between the White Witch and the Black Witch. The White witch is thought to only use Positive [White] magic, and will never hurt anyone. Although the Black witch is thought to only use Negative [Black] Magic. Then there is the best of our kind. The Grey Witch. This Witch will go through White and Black Magic, to elimate all obstacles in their way. Though they do it, they take the chance in having bad backlashes of negative energy.
But there are some situations where the Witch has to protect their hearth and home. Using Hexas or Banishing spells and such. For you do not want somone to hurt you, you protect yourself, by defending yourself.
Like some say, A witch that cannot Hex, cannot do good spells...or something like that. Hey, Silver RavenWolf is an awesome teacher....if she actually teachers you. I love her books. Like "Solitary Witch" or "To ride a silver broomstick."
And lets continue....
Like if someone picked a fight at you, and you couldn't escape because the crowd has now gathered around you pushing you at your opponent yelling 'fight, fight, fight.' Your Opponet is now hitting you right and left. What will you do? Take the punch or defend yourself?
Though this Rede covers most of Magick, and outside sources, just remember, if you don't protect yourself, you're actually dishonoring the Rede by letting other things harm you.

Sadly, some people in the Craft have no self-control. I knew a girl in Middle School who lost control of herself and started twisting the Craft to suit her own needs. Her altar was the most evil thing ever. sad I don't know what became of her, because I severed ties with her when things got scary. She inspired me to start my search for an alternative, but she also serves as a reminder to me now to keep my self and my casting in check.

But then again, some [underage or young] people can do that, it is because for some they are immature or have no self-control.

[Soup Nazi] If you wanted to start, for the first time with wicca.... what would be the first step? I do ask, because I really want to try it.
I know a little bit about the 8 major days, and such. But, like I said, what is the first step? Well I'll just have to make a page about that now. ;3

For some it's like:

This stuff happened in 95-96 or so, but I remember it more vividly than anything else. I don't know why I do, but it haunts me kind of. There are a lot of self-proclaimed 'Witches' out there.. but by nature I don't trust anyone until I know them very well. Which is why I only know one witch irl.

I have a question about it...like...you know how our most important rule is An Ye Harm None Do What Ye Will? Well...since out main thing is to not harm anyone...how come the Christians, Mormons and others believe that we are nothing but pure evil and we're out to hurt all and nonsense...it makes me mad because they wont take the time to at least read our rules and such...

Well...since out main thing is to not harm anyone...how come the Christians, Mormons and others believe that we are nothing but pure evil and we're out to hurt all and nonsense...it makes me mad because they wont take the time to at least read our rules and such... Ignorance is Bliss. They see us as "Evil" we see them as morons. Most people stereotype us, and in a bad way. But to be religious also instills that you will accept everyone as they are. Not all of them are like that, some understand but most of the population are like "They are evil, believe in their satan, and blah blah blah." But that is not true, since we do not believe in or Worship the "Christian Devil." And honey, don't listen to them, for if they do say something bad about Us good people then they're just inflicting Karma on themselves. And it might make you angry, or even to do something about Ignorant people like that, but don't let them get to you. It'll only hurt yourself. I know from experience. As it is wise to follow "The be silent" rule and not say that you are Wiccan in front of those who would think negative of you.

How can we be Satanists if we do not believe

But they don't answer me...they're like

And I say,

And they're like...

Yes..I just want them to realize the truth..but saddly they can't. *sigh*
Ah..it's already too late for that rule to reside here...everyone at my school already knows...and I'm the only witch...that I know of...there...so it's sorta hard on me because they start asking me all about these Harry Potter questions...which gets on my nerves...
But yet...I shall try not to let it get to me!

My friend told me to make sure u have a snack of some sort after spells and rituals and its best to fast a day before casting a spell or ritual. Is that true?

Well to start off I believe of course in the Rede as all true wiccans do but I also believe if your attack you have to right to protect yourself from harm even if it means you have to harm your attacker but always try to avoid a fight if you can. As far as Retribution Seeker I was a person who had no control and Wicca taught me control there are people who go power hungry but you have to keep yourself on track and for me and many others it is hard but it must be done. As far a [Soup Nazi] the place I started was research but don't believe everything you read in books and on the net find someone you trust and when you find something ask them if it is correct information or if it is wrong information because there is a lot of it out there. As far as the Christians go they are like a lot of people they fear what they do not know and the believe all magic or magick as some of us call it is evil when it is not correct and a lot well not stop long enough to learn but there are Christians who do stop to learn and who do understand and who do accept Wiccans as peaceful people there are not a whole bunch but there are some and if any body wants I have a blog or letter I found online written by a Christian defending us I don't have the link anymore but its saved on my comp. so I can email it but back to what I was saying do not assume that all Christians are against as because thats just as bad as the ones who are saying where all evil.
