Well, I know alot of people cosplay/wish to cosplay as their favorite characters, so I figured I'd make this.
What is cosplay?
Cosplay is dressing up as a character or person from a game, movie, show, Band, ect. Is generally done at conventions.
So this thread will be for:
Announcing cosplays you have done or will do.
Your opinion on cosplay.
Pictures of you cosplaying.
Stuff like that.
And let's try and keep this at least semi-Naruto-based... sweatdrop

Yay for double-posting! xd
I'm cosplaying as Itachi this July; I shall be sure to post pictures of me doing so when the time comes... I was, but my friend waited too long to make the costumes for me and Kanna, so we decided to wait 'till next year to cosplay. sweatdrop

It's always bothered me how girl's are always cosplaying guys and from what I've seen generally end up doing a better job than other guys. rolleyes I think it has to do with the character's.I mean let's take a look at some character's who are cosplayed.Sasuke,far from the manliest looking of men in naruto(or anywhere for that matter.),Sephiroth,pretty much every guy from Final Fantasy is indestinguishable from male or female these days so yeah...,and then there's Haku.I don't know if people cosplay as Haku all that often but if anyone does it'll likely be a girl.

I think one of the reasons girl cosplays some times end up better than guy cosplays is because we're willing to wear any sort of makeup or hair dye to make it work; alot of guys I know wouldn't touch either with a ten foot pole. xd Yes, People do cosplay as Haku, and yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a guy do it. I'm sure there's one out there though...

This last AWA we alled planned to go as Naruto characters. Unfortunately, only a handfull of us had time to get the costumes together. I was planning to go as either Kurenai or Haku (I decided on Kurenai due to the costume being cooler). The costumes that did make it were Tenten, Sakura, Hinata, and Orochimaru. Chellebell22 is Orochimaru and I think she did an AWESOME job. Laneybug25 is Tenten and she made both the Tenten and Orochimaru costumes.

Lol, she was getting off an elevator and the big evil pretzel got stuck when the doors closed. It was hilarious!!

I couldn't help but laugh at the face she made... it reminds me of a zombie who burnt his tounge on something, but in an awesome, zombie way. xd
Yes! Butt-bow accidents! those are always funny. Speaking of purple butt-bows, the one your friend had looks awesome, most of the time cosplayers just get a purple sash or something.
Meh, I have no pics of my cosplaying, but I'll ambush my friend next time she cosplays as Tsunade. xd

Meh, I have no pics of my cosplaying, but I'll ambush my friend next time she cosplays as Tsunade. xd We tried to convince her to carry around a fake tongue, and she wouldn't do it! blaugh But yeah...the pretzel took forEVER to make. She even sacrificed her hair for the job. She allowed our friend to hack off the front to make Oro's bangs and then we dyed it black. She still keeps it black even now. It's normally brown. But the black just turned out really nice (even when not all snakey rofl )
