Today, April 21, 2007, number 6 of the Blue Angles(Navy Airobatcits Performance Team) crashed during an air show at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina. Thousands of people noticed that the aircraft had disappered below the tree line, followed by a plume of black smoke. The crash killed the pilot and set about eight fires, including at least one to a home. Depree was scatted all over the road and the base was locked down for about three hours. The crash happened at about 4:00p.m. Eastern Standard Time. I was notified before the news and the news sites about the crash by my aunt that was there with my grandmother. I later called one of my past teacher's house to find out if he know, only to learn that he was also there. He is a retired air force pilot. This accident touches me close to home. I ask you all to pray for the family of the pilot and every one that was involved. This is a day that no one will ever forget. I thank you for taking the time to read this.

I don't have the words to comfort you in this time Jet but know that you and those effected by this tragedy will be in my thoughts.

I shall say a prayer and give a moment of silent at home. May God and everything holy let their souls rest in peace. I am so sorry.

Being a member of the Blue Angels takes so much dedication..... You have to put almost everything into it. They do some amazing things up in the air. We must try to remember that Lt. Davis died doing what he most likely loved. Let us hope that his death will provide information to save lives in the future, and hope that he is flying as we speak....
