Character Inspiration: Mostly Sun Ce of Dynasty Warriors. Idea of tattoo's all over upper body, Gan Ning of the same game.
Name Meaning:
Nicknames: ‘The Snake of Zhou’ or ‘Snake’, for he strikes like a snake does. Thus, his symbol has become the snake.

Hair: Dark brown, tied high with ribbons in a Chinese fashion.

Distinguishing Features: Clean-shaven, save for a line of hair from his ear following the top of his cheekbones, ending in a point diagonal from the middle of his eyes. And a tuff of hair on his chin.

Occupation: A captain and Prince of the Zhou Family.
Weapons: Deshi prefers to use a spear, but, being the well trained and experienced warrior he is, he can use many other types if the situation call for it. A long sword stays strapped to his hip at all times, in the case either his spear is snapped in half or not the best choice for the moment. And, while the archers are showering the enemy with arrows, so is he.
Abilities: Battle with the spear, sword, and bow. Strategizing.
Piercing(s): Right ear.
Tattoo(s): A series of spirals and twists which look like wind over his upper arms, chest, and back, including a snake wrapped around his right upper arm and resting on his chest.
Scar(s): Upper bodies hidden by tattoo’s. Lower body, a wide one down his left thigh, where Mei managed to drive a dagger into during their first and only fight. Since it went out the other end of his leg, yet past any arteries and bones, there’s also a smaller scar where it came out.
Style: Proud of all the tattoos he endured the pain to wear, Deshi can be found often forsaking any and all bits of upper body protection during a war. At times, this aids his alleys, as all the tattoos are found intimating by the enemy. They are a white flag that tell people “This is Zhou Deshi, one of Chinese toughest warriors.” And a sign of how strong he is that he endured the pain of having them all over his torso and shoulders at such a young age, all at one time, it is rumored.

Personality
Fighting/Battle: Deshi is an honorable man, always giving his opponents a fair advantage. For instance, if they’d lost their weapon, he’ll return it to them so they may continue. He doesn’t believe in taking advantage of anyone when they’re down or unarmed. However, when it comes to certain battles, like taking back parts of his Family’s land, he can be very fierce. Thus, enemy forces tend to capture the lands of his Family on the other side of where he’d been last spotted. And attempt to set up their strongest warriors and traps when they know he’s coming for them. They once tried to put out their strongest and most beautiful female fighter, in the hopes he’d be distracted by her beauty so that she may kill him easily. But he fought and killed her, for she was the Captain of the invading army.
Deshi’s always more than eager for a fight, but never goes looking for one or starts them. He likes excitement in his life and to use his skills on worthy opponents. What better way than with a battle?
Love: A kind and loving person when not in battle, Deshi makes a very protective husband. As far as protective one can get when one’s wife happens to be a warrior. On the battlefield with Mei, their relations are mostly kept quiet. There is a time and place for much affection, but it’s not there. Besides, they had to keep their eyes and ears open for any ambushes.
