It’s full of computers running complicated programs among other things. There are many shelves of chemicals in glass bottles and beakers; several of which, when mixed, could have disastrous results. There is a door on the far side of the room locked with a hand scan and voice recognition.
Not to mention all the other shiny and breakable objects lying around.
