One day at the Library, at the comics section, I glanced over a big, hard covered graphic Novel "Grease Monkey" By Tim Eldred. I was skeptical at first, but since I have read every other comic on that shelf, I decided to give it a try.
I was a instant fan when I finished it. This comic had it all, a good deep story, nice classic art, great humor, and above all else, wonderful characters(Especially Mac).

I just want to know if anyone else has read this great comic before.

Here's a picture of the cover...

Unfortunately I haven't read that comic. I will be sure to check it out though. The cover looks cool.

I love Grease Monkey! I found it at my library too, and I was amazed. The art was nice and strong, and the story was great. He did a good job of fleshing out this sci-fi world without hitting you over the head with it by pacing the exposition throughout the story.

Also, the character aspect was brilliant. The relationship between Mac and Robin is great, and the overarching subplots of romance and friendship and loss are beautiful. I've read Grease Monkey 5 times now, and I love it more every time.

I can find it at mine, but, sadly... I'm poor. I can barely afford the current issues I want, let alone a big hardcover book...
