It's a joke, but it's also an argument they sometimes use against Christians who are Pro-life, they say "Well it will go to heaven anyway so who cares?" even though, from what I've been taught, Christians aren't supposed to "shed innocent blood..." And then they say the fetus isn't innocent since it can't be guilty... I feel strange being so outspoken on this since I hardly read the Bible myself, but they also say, concerning a scripture about God knowing someone in the womb, that it applied exclusively to the Prophet being talked about in that scripture. God created the universe and recognized that prophet before he was born, but magically the same God doesn't know or care about other fetuses? That's kind of a dumb argument... sweatdrop

I laughed at it. My sense of humor is sick enough to take jokes about anything- jews, blacks, the holocaust, abortion, dead babies, you name it.
but abortion is a bit mre sad, as it is still occuring today. unlike slavery or true, government condoned racism or the holocaust, it's not just a thing of the past we can laugh at and move on from

I like sick humor. I didn't really laugh aloud at that, though. There's a difference between sick humor that's executed well and sick humor that's ill-thought-out and impetuous. That said, the drawing was pretty good.

I guess my sense of humor just doesn't run that way. Never liked dead baby jokes either. I love Aggie and blonde jokes, though...

I do! His name's Chilo and he's really docile and sweet. You have to hold him to really understand. You just can't be afraid anymore after you've watched him. He moves very, very slowly and carefully. He never bites--he can't, his jaws don't work that way--and he's gentle like nothing else.
I'm very proud of him, my boyfriend and I took him to the park yesterday so he could eat grass. xd It's a one-time-only thing, we were careful not to be near other people so nobody would squish him.
Mine hasn't stained anyone so far.

God created the universe and recognized that prophet before he was born, but magically the same God doesn't know or care about other fetuses? That's kind of a dumb argument... sweatdrop Innocence in the Bible is some times a refrence to the absence of sin. Since a fetus can not sin, they are indeed innocent. Further, since a fetus has no concept of what sin is, and can also not sin, they are pure as well. Its known that when God speaks of something spucific in some ones life, such as something they have done or will do, he is talking about that one person. But when it comes to somethign like this, the knitting in the womb, how would God know one person, and not knwo them all? They say its because he was a propheyt and hand picked by god. The problem with that statement is that ALL beleivers of God and Christ are prophets. They then tend to counter with saying that it must only account for christians then. The roblem with this one is obvious. Any one can be a christian if they so chose too. And since man has free will, given to him by God, that means that at any moment in that human's life, they can become a christian. So, to make it short, God knew us all. The beleivers AND the unbeleivers.

Well according to my religion, an unborn child can't actually go to heaven unless it has been baptised. I don't mean they go to hell, but they just can't go to heaven because of original sin, that is why I thought that the jokes were stupid.
Guess not everyone thinks these things....
Well, I believe there is a heaven because it seems like the only logical outcome there could be.
