Is there anyone here who's read the original comic book of "V for Vendetta?" It's very different from the movie- instead of all the cheap 9/11 references, it's a story that's strongly centered around Anarchism. The demolision of a fascist government leads to what the V character called "The Land of Do As You Please."
It's an inspiring book, and I recommend you all track down a copy of it.

The books are always better than the movies. V for Vendetta movie really did disappoint a bit, I'll check a few places that I think might have it. Can you recommend a particular store?

My mate knows the guy who wrote the original V for Vendetta comics (i think it's the same guy as wrote the book - it'd make sense) because his dad lived with the guy xd I keep meaning to read them when i go round to his house, but for some reason i always forget. . .
Maybe cos i'm always too wasted. . .

does the book talk about actual anarchism?
i thought the movie was more of like lets bomb stuff anarchism

Yes, the book actually talks about Anarchism. I mean, it is a comic book, so the big focus is on "LOL BOMB THE GOV'MENT" but there is certainly more complex anarchist thoughts explored.

I wouldn't really have said that. I'd have said it was more about the actual ideals of anarchism and the story rather than just the "LOL BOMB THE GOV'MENT" although there is plenty of that for entertainment purposes xd
