First off, Guild's activity has been on a downard spiral lately.
This bothers me to say the lest. I'm still trying to decide on ways to fix this problem. Right now I just am too busy with real life to sit down and really work on the issue.

The Front Page is still being put off and I'm sorry about this. Again, I hate to use the excuse but I've just been having too many issues in my life to put my full effort into Guild or Gaia at all.

-My computer recently crashed and burned...again. I'm going to try and fix it myself again so lets cross our fingers that I can fix it. Right now I'm using the family laptop to get online so my time will be limited somewhat.

The current contest that is stickied in the main forum is getting over with the members as well as a lead-filled balloon floats. I'm not completely sure why it's being rejected by the guild but I'd like to remind everybody that the winner will receive 15,000g.

UniFaction recently released their third verison of the site and since Lumi helps with the site, making items and such, I've temp-stickied a link to it. So if you are bored and don't have anything else to do, why not check that site out?

4:20 is coming up this Friday so I wish everyone a safe and fun Weekend. =)

I think the contest that is currently running is a nice idea, but most of us just lack the patience or the inclination to read much text on here.
In fact this post is probably too long for some of our members.

That's got to be one of the saddest things I've ever heard that doesn't include death.

Sorry love sad
Speaking for myself, I can say that my time on here is limited and I just come to unwind at the end of long hard days. Heavy reading is not often what I want to do at this time.

Yeah...I don't see how that really constitutes as 'heavy' reading. >.> But I can understand wanting to not do anything but make and read short posts.

Right now, the first post in there is enough to make my eyes glaze over lol I guess the term "heavy reading" to me is dependant on the day, my mood and how I feel.
Today everything feels like heavy reading.

Too true. It also is different on the internets I guess. Some people can sit down and read a 500+ page book, then find three screens worth of text somewhere and type out 'TL, DR' in response to it.

I agree. I love reading books. Reading too much on the computer does get to my eyes. I even have glasses with a special reflective coating. I should really wear them sometime.....

Yes you should.

Reading from the computer doesn't get to me unless it's tiny text or I do it for loooong periods of time. smile

You are lucky. I have to dim my screen just to keep my eyeballs from abandoning their sockets.
