Upon the year 2087, the Human race happened upon Planet LV-426, a planet thought to be dead. A non-breathable atmosphere and was lead to that conclusion by the Weyland-Yutani Company. After colonization, a brief incident occurred with an unknown life form, the "Xenomorph." Unknown to the Human race, the incident had not been fully resolved. Ellen Ripley had again been forced to explain the occurrences of the missing Marines and researchers that had attempted to colonize the planet. After her resurrection (and fourth encounter with the Aliens), she had yet again been foiled by the disbelief of her peers, and immediately disappeared. The Weyland Co. had not learned from their mistakes, and again attempted another colonization at Planet SA-666, a jungle planet, 20 years later.


Earth had led to its eventual decay, which had been noticed for a long time. The prospects for the potential of this planet led to an immediate decision, in which the Company had manipulated easily. With such outlook for a "New Earth", the people easily agreed. Such a hasty colonization led to many faults. The small outpost ran smoothly for the first few months, then these faults caught up with them. Disappearances and loss of contact eventually led to the deployment of a Special Forces Team. Contact was also lost shortly after the attachment left. In order to re-evaluate this predicament, the Company decided to prevent a similar situation from earlier years, which had disastrous effects. This, again, led to the placement of a new high-tech recon team, F.E.A.R., First Encounter Assault Reconnaissance . This is where the reckoning begins...



Rules:

These are the rules you must obey in this thread, or else terrible things will happen in your sleep!

1.) Respect thread masters.I don't have a black list but I can make one
2.) No being a know-it-all. This is the future, so shut yo' mouf! (Yes, I used the term "Mouf.")
3.) This may be "Aliens", but comedy is allowed. Especially where required, such as in battle.
4.) This is a PG-18 thread, though sexual content is NOT allowed. (It's "ALIEN!" How can you have a gorefest without the word ********!?)
5.) Referring to the use of ******** earlier, make sure your profanities are not over-exaggerated. As long as we get what your profanity means, it can be allowed. Example: "Holy shitballs!" is allowed.
6.) No chatspeak. Example: Using u instead of "You." It just isn't allowed In character. I understand it under use in a hurry while out-of-character.
7.) Use some semblance of literacy. If you make mistakes, it's fine. I understand that. I just want to be able to read your posts!
8.) No God moding/ Powerplaying. It's damn frustrating.
9.) PM profiles to us! Cam has a readable icon, though I happen to be on more often.
10.) No BUMPING! Anyone who bumps here will have an immediate trip to the black list, or an eventual decapitation!
11.) Avoid the acid if possible. It's not just a pain in the a**, but everywhere. (Trust me, I know.)
12.) Mind the tongue! It is also a pain everywhere! Decapitations will most likely occur. (I also know this one from experience!)
13.) Read all of page 1 while registering. It will help.
14.) MOST IMPORTANT POST! Stay alive...
