Standing at least four feet taller than the man at nine feet, he was more than intimidating, "You do know, sir, that in the last thousand years in the service of the Celestial army, not a single man or woman on my side has ever thought of something before me, that was only one of many reasons I have been named general, I know what I'm doing, and if you try to give an order to anyone of my men, I will personally have your head for it!" Kifarna bellowed the last few words, disgusted that this...man would even think to do such a thing, "Desh, Feralin, do what you can. we need only a few minutes. He turned to several soldiers in the room, "Please find Captain Darasuum and sargeant Eladrin, I need them immediatly.
"Looking for us?" a tall man with golden hair and pointed ears, flanked by a tall, mahogany-colored centaur, entered the room. "Yes, I need you and Eladrin here to help me with soemthing special." He turned and beckoned the two to follow him, walking down a long, pure golden hallway. "We have had mant losses in just the last month. I cannot allow this to continue. We have a single chance of survival. It is small, unlikely, implausable, some would say it is impossible! We are going to call upon The GateKeepers." A'besh sighed, shaking his head, "Last time that happened the world was destroyed for the third time, then there were the other times. Do you want to be responsible for the fourth?" Kifarna started to laugh, "But that was when there were the Keepers of Wind and Fire. not this time. We, my friends, search for the Gate of Water." this time A'besh stopped, gaping at the nine-foot-tall Celestial, "Are you crazy? I heard from one of the Kuo-Toa that joined us that to get there we have to dive no less than a thousand feet! If we could hold our breath that long, we'd still need to stand up to the crushing weight of that much water!" Kifarna started laughing again, "Do you not think that after a thousand years, I do not know to bring a few Water Elementals with me?" A'besh nodded, "Good point..."
The trio walked out onto the great courtyard of pure gold. It was a day like they had all been for the last year or two: Black clouds covered the sky, Flames seemed to grow in the sky. The wind was so great they had to bend double to keep from being blown over, but it didn't help Eladrin much. He fell over to less than twenty times, helped up by the others. Finally, they made it to the Great Stable. "How am I getting there?" the Centaur asked nervously. A'besh turned to him, "You'll be teleporting, most likely, as that's how we're getting there." Eladrin heaved a great sigh, "Thank the gods."
There was the sound of footsteps coming towards them and twelve men, lead be a tall, proud, female Aasimar, walked towards them, "Ah! Lieutenant Eos, you got my message then?" Eos nodded, "I figured we might need some extra help." Kifarna nodded, "Of course, ma'am." He turned towards the other two, "Let's move." He moved off at a quick trot, turning at one large stall fit for the largest of golden dragons. a young woman walked out, flanked by two more men and another woman, they were Elementals. They wore blue robes, obviously Water Elementals. The nodded at Kifarna. "Sakura is coming with us aswell." A'besh said, nodding to the woman in the lead. She nodded, "We'll have some help." they all walkied into the stall. It wasn't even close to full, even with Kifarna, nine feet tall, twelve bulky sodliers, four Elementals, a centaur, and two high-ranking officials. Kifarna Lokked at the wall, held up a hand, and a portal appeared, "Let's move!" he walked forward, instantly being swallowed by the red and orange, dizzying void that had appeared. The soldiers went forward, then the Elementals, then Eladrin, A"besh and Eos. Before disappearing, Two more people ran into it. they had been unnoticed by anyone else, but they knew they had to do their jobs, so they jumped into the large portal as it disappeared. The two were Desh and Feralin.
