The Rainorr woods are dark and frightening. Many terrifying creatures make their home here. Also, the Rainorr woods are the chosen home of those who have been outlawed from the North, and have little other place to go. The trees grown thick and dense, so that you cannot see more than a few yards around you. From sundown to sunup, strange sounds are heard beneath these trees. It is not thought wise to enter this piece of land, and yet many do.

Nikida staked between trees with her bow drawn and arrow notched. Again she was on a hunt. She had to. In order to show that she honored the old man, she'd take care of the people who stumbled on to her camp. Right now though, they needed food and food is what she was intending to get. Staying alert for any signs of movement, she sprung up and let an arrow fly. It hit it's target dead on, instantly killing the deer(a rare sight in this forest) with a single arrow. That was one of the few she would need for the exiles back at camp.

Loche had been chasing a theif through the forest on horse-back, attempting to retrive a valuble item for the king. He was not told what it was but felt obligated to track the theif down. After sevral hours of chase loche lost track of the fugitive and took a break. He slumped off his horse in full armor, his sheithed sword's handle looming over his back. He looked around hin his pockets and his horses poutch for somthing. He scoweld and threw the bag to the ground."Damn it! Where is my map?!" Just as he was about to get back up on his horse a deer ran by him and was struck in the skull by an arrow. "What in the..." Loche shifted his head around and spotted a figure with a large longbow.

She hadn't noticed him. Almost cursing her lack of alertness on this situation, she looked back at the knight in full armor. Full royal armor, which meant he served the king. Quickly, noctching an arrow she kept a cautious eye on him. "...What business do you have here in the forest of the exiles?" Her voice was firm and her lips were thinned as of right then.

Loche, noticing Nikida's bow was loaded, span the large sheild on his back over, griping it in front of the only weak part in his armor. His eyelids narrowed into a focused and determined look. "I am tracking down a fugitive, what are you doing with an armed weapon aimed at a royal knight?" His voice had a sickly sweet sarcasim to it.

Ryu had been moving swiftly through the forest. He was on his way to a new assignment when he saw someone zip by in the woods. He paid no heed till he heard people talking and stopped, hidden in the leaves of the trees' canopy. He watched the female archer aim her bow to the knight on horse back. He had plenty of time to attend to his task, so he allowed himself the chance to learn more about this new land he was in.

"I'm aiming a weapon at a child in armor." Hearing another person behind her she turned rapidly and let loose the arrow, driving itself into the tree inches to the side of the man who had ben watching. "Show yourself!" She barked before turning a swift glance back towards the knight. "As for you, tell your "king" to leave this place be. Royal knights dissapear quite commonly around here." her threat sounded and was serious.

He shifted his view over at the tree this archer had just shot. He loosened his neck and walked back to his horse. "Do not underestimate me, rebel. You are lucky im letting you stay here." He flipped the face-plate of his helmet bakc over his head and began walking further into the forest. "And as for calling me a child? That was pathetic."

Does the king scratch your belly if you behave good for him?" Lucky he was letting me stay here? She snarled at the very idea. "This is my forest to protect along with anyone in it." She yelled at him. "I repeat, turn around and go back to your king before I send you back."

Loche stopped, a small smirk ran over his face. He got off of his horse and walked up to Nikida, his large body loomed over her, catching her in his streatched out shadow. "Test me will you? Me?" He laughed, the armor making him sound hollow. "Very well then." A bright red light glinted under his helmet. He drew his sword and leaned on it. It was almost as big as Nikida herself. After a few slow moments of his calm stance, a huge cloud of dust was quickly kicked itself up, covering Loche in an instant. The dust settled, showing empty air where Loche had been a moment before. His voice echoed out from a tree branch where he was standing. "Come get me rebel, see how many limbs you will escape with."

She stood for a second watching his travel to the tree branch. "Sorry old man..." She murmurred. "Look like I have to break that promise. She crouched holding her bow to the side. Kicking of the ground, she rocketed up into the air landing on a higher branch and drawing back three arrows. "You'll find me a harder target then the cripples and children your "king" sends you to kill!" She yelled letting them fly off in a spiral towards him. Immediately, she drew three more and fired again, keeping count of how man arrows she had.

(( and now i find things have picked back up here)) Ryu was impressed at the accuracy of the archers warning shot, he reasoned she might have been able to hit him, might being the key word. He watches as the two for a moment, then using one of his secret techniques, he projected his voice through the shadows and behind there ears, so that they would think he was behind them. To the Knight he sends "you fight someone that was in the midst of hunting while your true prey escapes, what would your king say to such lack in devotion to the task you were doing?" To the archer he sends" your forest to protect and anyone within it, yet you immediately shoot to kill one whom has done little more then watch you, your actions and words contradict one another, perhapes rather then waist time on a fight that need not happen, you should tend to your kill, before some beast comes along to claim it, and deprive you and those you provide for their next meal" He continues to watch, but has quietly changed locations.

She could tell that whoever it was that had spoke to her, was nowhere near behind her. She growled at this person's voice. This goes beyond protection true, this goes into blood. She had her bow still notched and waited. She was protecting fugitives from the king too. It stayed under her rules. If this knoght didn't leave, then he never would, afterwards, she'd worry about the other one... Deer are rare in this forest... She growled stuck in between two different decisions of fight or allowing the knight to invade the old man's forest.

Loche darted through the trees, doging arrows, moving increadibly fast for somone wearing armor. The strage voice in his head barely fazed him. Im suprised you can get past the seal on my mind... He pinpointed down the location of the archer with his keen eyes and lunged forward, raising his massive sword and spinning it around abouve his head. The blade clipped the tree, splitting it and toppling down the branch the archer was standing on. "Im not warning you again; do not attempt to threat me."

Backflipping off the tree, she landed on another branch slightly lower on a different one. "If you want to stop my threats and this fight, you will leave or give me reason why this man is being hunted." She realized she was actually letting up and scowled. Stupid voice... I'm going to find and kill him after this.
Holding her arrow still notched in her bow, she waited for his next move, if he attacked her again, she put one in a spot in his armor. The armpit could easily be shot at and the neck was always a good area, she had figured out more from earlier encounters with armored attackers.
