In a world called Exannite, there has recently been a great war. Before, the world was a peaceful place, but a civil war tore the world apart. In the past five years, the world has been rebuilding itself. Many towns and areas still lay in destruction.

As a treaty agreement at the end of the war, the world was divided into four Quarters, each governed by a different ruler and a series of Lords. The Quarters are the North, South, East, and West. King Gallian rules the North Quarter, while his brother, King Meylor, Rules the South. The West is ruled by Queen Eleanor, and the East is ruled by Queen Lisabelle.

In each Quarter are various cities and towns, each province ruled by a Lord or Lady.

There are Dark Powers, however, that want to rule. There are those who want more than to call a Quarter of Exannite their own. There are those who are the mortal enemies of this once-peaceful world.

Rebels spring up, Primarily in the North and West, and band together. They scheme and plot, hoping to at one point take over Quarter by Quarter until they rule the entire world together.
