Heart - Breaker
As I think about all your lies,
A river flows down gently from my eyes.
As I wonder what made you want to cheat,
I ask myself, “Why did we ever meet?”
You beamed out the words, “I love you.”
Know I now those words were never true.
You took my heart and played with it like a toy,
You never once froze to wonder what you might destroy.
What did you expect you could gain,
If all you do is give me so much pain?
Did you have a good reason,
To give me so much treason?
What did I do wrong?
Because there’s no way it could last this long..
Sugar-plum and sweetie-pie,
Those words were a lie.
I opened up a part of me,
That I’ve never let anyone, but you see.
At first I was flattered,
Then you went and crushed me until I was shattered.
I should of seen the point that you would be this cruel,
I don’t know how I ever could of felt for a fool.
I let you in my heart,
And all you did was break it apart.
Now you can leave me alone,
Thanks to you I will never again call someone my own.
