This is InuYasha/Kagome. It is set in the 1500's. It is about the daughter of a marquess(I'm not sure how to spell it) who goes to live at court with her sister who has been living there for three years,and is engaged to the King. She eventually falls in love with the king, and it sets the whole story into motion. It's one of my favorite fanfictions.

This is an Itachi/Sakura. Sakura is an ANBU squad leader. One a mission the squad gets ambushed by Akatsuki. Sakura ends of fighting Itachi who ends up using mangekou sharingan, knocking Sakura out. Guess what happens next? Despite the slight predictivness at the beginning, it is a very good story. It is rated M for a rape scene early on that can easily be skipped over. It's in the 2nd chapter. As long as you know it happend, you don't need to know all of the gory details.
