Hello, hello! And welcome to the Giving in Black Donation Drive at the GIB Six Month Anniversary Masquerade Bash! (Gosh, that's a mouthful! WHo came up with that name? Zi? I should have known!) I am your handsome, charming host, Agent Charity. *trademark smile*
What does Giving in Black do? We give gold to the poor and all that awesome Robin Hood stuff, as well as fund major GIB functions (such as this one).
Normally, we wouldn't be shamelessly begging for gold... but this event has left us... rather poor. We would like to get our funds back up (and we could use the funds for better prizes for our various contests across this party.)
What do you get if you donate to our Charity? Well, you get your name tossed into a hat to win one of these fabulous prizes...
We will do these prize drawings at the end of the event by using the random number generator. The name that corresponds with the number gets the prize. Everytime you donate 10k, you get your name added twice! (So, if you donated say, 20k, you would get your name on four times....)
and you get the satisfaction in knowing you did a good deed.... So what do you say? Will you donate?
