Wompem is a Boffer group that a bunch of people in my area started. Its one of the easiest games to play, in my opinion.
Object of Game:-Get your opponent to drop their weapon
-Break opponents weapon[
rarely happens]
-Have opponent submit to pain
-Knock opponent to the ground
Rules[pretty simple]:-You are out when: [see above]
-No groin or headshots
-Any armor is allowed, hockey pads to plate mail, though hockey pads are lighter
Weapons:-The basic wompem stick is a PVC core, -enough- padding so it stings but doesnt hurt you too badly, and duct tape.
-If you can make it, its legal, though hooking weapons[scythes, sickles, kamas, etc] don't work well
-Only PVC cores are allowed
And thats pretty much the basics. Really fun game, you can really go all out on this. Not many restrictions, so you can really just run with it. Good ol' fashion beating the s**t out of your friends.

Here are some weapons we use. Keep in mind, the really skinny swords]there are 3, 2 are together with black tape, one is just plain silver] are illegal. They were just thrown in there/
