Hey guys!

Because we're talking Fanfiction here, we should have a place for up-and-coming-authors to find awesome betas to help 'em out a little!

So betas, if you would, Place an ad here about your awesome beta skills. Please include ALL types of anime/manga/books/original stories you beta, we all obviously beta/write for Inuyasha. XD Also add in what you expect from the writer you'll be partnering with.

Writers, you can post ads, too! Tell us what you write and what you expect from a beta.

Hopefully we'll make some perfect matches!

I am a: Beta!! And a writer, also!

I write: Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing, and Digimon, along with orignial Sci-fi/fantasy/Romance.

I read:

♥♥♥ | (Might as well...)

I am currently not taking any editing jobs. (Sorry, guys. xd )

I am a beta and, occasionally, a writer. I have been writing fan-fiction for three years and editing for at least two years and a half. In that time, I have had a lot of experience with trial and error, and I’ll admit that I have been wrong and have done my job incorrectly before.

With me, it’ll be more about improving your skills rather than making your story perfect. As a beta, my job will be to correct grammar and spelling and help you develop your characters in a fashion that they’ll go where you want them to (believably), and it’ll be your work—not mine. I’m not going to rewrite anything.

I write Inuyasha the anime/manga, Naruto the manga, and Twilight the book. I might one day attempt original fiction to a greater extent than what I currently have.

I read the same things that I write. Again, I’m willing to try with original fiction, but you’d have to have more patience with me than you would with fan-fiction and be willing to rely more on your own independence.

I won’t lie to you—it doesn’t get you or me anywhere. I’m willing to be a supportive cheerleader that urges you on with tips and suggestions to improve. I’m not infallible, but I’m decent...and I do try...unless I’m being lazy. (What? We all have our days...) Just promise me you will try, too. I shall quote, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.”—old proverb. xd

I’m helpful when it comes to fixing character development, grammar, spelling, characterization, structure and/or flow. For my sake, I’d appreciate if you’d fill me in on where you’re taking your story. I can make suggestions if you’re not sure yourself, but it is important to know where you’re going when you take off (foreshadowing is one of the best things ever).

No text talk or script format, please. Also...I’m not going to accept stories over the rating of T. sweatdrop This is for more than one reason which I will not disclose, though I have done them before... (Sshh...don’t tell anyone! Naughty turtle-chan! *cough* Close friends only...)

You can PM me to see if we can work something out. I’m not so sure I’m willing to take on longterm betaships at the moment, but I’m willing to read over one or two chapters for whoever wants me to.

I would preferably work with only heterosexual couples, but I might make some exceptions for a few shounen-ai or shoujo-ai if it suits my tastes. I’m not biased against any certain pairing... It’s fan-fiction, after all. Anything could happen, right? | ♥♥♥
